Happy new year Calligrafriends! This is the 1st post for this year and to be honest is weird and a bit scary not posting every day! . For those of you who haven't read the captions of the last post - there is not gonna be anymore reposting of your content guys! If you are willing to appear on the page, you have to come up with either teaching or awesome Calligraphy, lettering or sign painting post that's created exclusive for this profile! If you want to learn more, go read the captions of the previous post. . I have great plans for this year and many of them are super scary, but it's said: If your dreams doesn't scare you, they are not big enough! . I'm gonna be a lot of changes this year not only with CM and the way it's run, but also in my personal life and the way my day goes. . Some of my goals for this year are: create a book, launch "The Calligraphers podcast",start some online classes with people from the team (and very soon I'll introduce all people that are part of CM)workshops around the world, create few prints with people that are not expected to collab with CM and launch some products like pens and pen rolls. They are many others too, but I think those are the ones my focus goes mostly at the moment. . The videos from this post are part of an INK review that @made.by.edgar did some weeks ago. If you are willing to see the review (which I strongly recommend you do) go on our YouTube channel and find it or simply search in the YouTube bar for "is this the most unique ink for calligraphy" . What are your goals for this year? And what are you expecting(or willing) to see from CM that helps you learn anything about Calligraphy, lettering or sign painting?? . Wish all an amazing, exciting and full of happiness year! . The best, never rest - #KeepWriting - @milen1st

I've decided the best way to end the year and to start the new one is with some motivation. Also to give you a glimpse of what's to be expected in the new year on this profile. . I told you I'm not gonna be reposting anymore works of people, but will have tutorials and original content only and this is an example of original content. I've asked Slo Lee to create those quotes for CM exclusive. . With that said I will ask you to stop tagging me in your posts and stop asking for them to be featured here or anywhere on CM network. From now on if you are willing to appear here you have to create content that will be exclusive only on CM and not shared on your personal profiles or anywhere else. This will help both CM and you as artists to grow in a way that no other community offers. . It's been a great year full of inspiration. I found many amazing artists, meet with super cool people and attended some awesome calligraphy events. One of the best things probably was the official presentation of The Design of Words book in Milano that was collaboration with #Moleskine. . I don't have enough words to tell you guys how grateful I am for all your support this year! Thank you all who still believe in CM, those who joined my journey and those of you who don't like it and hate it! Thank you all, you are huge motivation for me to keep working on it and keep finding new ways to improve and grow it in a way that helps the whole community! . I have crazy goals for 2019 and many new things to surprise and inspire you to keep writing and keep mastering your craft. Many changes are coming so to those of you who are true CM please turn notifications ON for this profile, follow CM on Fb and subscribe to the YouTube channel. . Let me know what's your all time favourite motivational quote and the best ones will be turned into posts next year. . All quotes are written with Ecoline watercolour and a glass pen by the hand of @slo.leecalli . The best, never rest - #KeepWriting - @milen1st

Here is finally my top 10 favourite posts from this year. I haven't use any app like #bestnine2018 but scrolled trough the profile and found my personal favourites of this year. . In this top 10 you will find sign painting, hand lettering, calligraphy and even an unique oblique pen holder. Those were my very favourite posts of the year and I think they deserve more attention. The people responsible for this top 10 are: @raymawst @tomasz_biernat @misterkams @_cryptik_ @charlartscript @allanvisses @sachinspiration @made.by.edgar @jamesllewis @kalemkes . It's been an amazing year full of inspiring Calligraphy, Lettering & Sign Painting which shows that in 2018 even all screens and technology that's all around us, there is still people who love using their hands with pens & brushes and dedicate to create really beautiful artworks! I'm super grateful to all artists who chose to create with real ink and paint rather than using screens to 'create' digital Calligraphy, Lettering and Sign Painting. Thank you all for keeping my favourites crafts alive and thank you all people who support the page & the community! . I wish that more people in 2019 dedicate to their letters and put more time into what they create. Learn the proper ways of doing letters ( educate them self via workshops and books ) less posting of everything they create and less hunger for fame and fucking numbers on their pages... more love for the art and more real people. . What is your favourite post?? And what are your goals for 2019?? . Wish you all have an amazing full of inspiration and achieved dreams 2019. The best, never rest - #KeepWriting - @milen1st

Yesterday I uploaded top nine videos of the year which were the most successful shared videos on the profile according to the top nine app algorithm. . Today I've collected top nine single letters that were shared on the page (without any algorithm) . In this top nine (actually 10) there is hand lettering, illuminated letter and sign painting styles. All of them received lots of love and all together they've received over 100K likes. . As I explained in yesterdays post next year is gonna be very different and not sharing content of people, so I guess this is a good way to see all bests this year. Both yesterday and today post are based on performance and how well they did, that's why the last top nine which I'm gonna make will be top nine of my favourite pieces shared this year. . The people who you need to show love and who are the reason for today's top nine are: @tomasz_biernat @omelartjewelry @tri.shiba @eddyartist @karenscribbles @vicleelondon @felicalligraphy . Let me know if you are willing to see such content next year?? And how many of you are willing to learn doing this kind of letters?? . Thank you for your huge support and #KeepWriting - @milen1st

It's this time of the year that everyone uploads their top 9 (most engaging/successful posts) and since all of the ones shared on the page were videos I've decided to do in a different way, rather than uploading just the screenshot of the top nine. . It's funny and strange because there are only 4 people in our top nine of the year: @allanvisses @saricastudio @hwangraphy & @muhammedbasdag and I said it's funny and strange because 2 of them are focused more on handwriting Allan with his magical BIC ballpoint pen and Sarica with fountain pens. While Hwan & Muhammed are focused on Calligraphy and both of them blew up this year! . 513 post have received over 2.6 million likes! Thank you for the support friends! It means a lot cause it shows that even with the decrease in reach of IG i still have the eye for most beautiful works and most hardworking & skilled artists. I helped a lot of people build their audience and many blew up after being featured here on CM (and I don't say it yo flex, but because that's a fact) it's been pleasure for me to do it, being able to help people (but still hated how many pages copy my content) . That's why in 2019 things are gonna be much more different! No more reposting, it's gonna be all about original content of artists and information that will help people learn and grow. . I wish in 2019 less people asking for their names to be written and more people to start doing it them self. Less people to expect hiring artists for free or pennies and more people understanding and learning about the process behind and about the value of every piece. . There is gonna be probably 1 or 2 posts this year, but other than that I want to say a huge THANK YOU to all people who believed in and supported CM and wish you an amazing year full of hard work and dreams turned into reality! #2018bestnine #KeepWriting - @milen1st

What are your top 3 favourite monograms from 1 to 10?? . Aย monogramย is aย motifย made by overlapping or combining two or more letters or otherย graphemesย to form oneย symbol. Monograms are often made by combining the initials of an individual or a company, used as recognizable symbols orย logos. A series of uncombined initials is properly referred to as a cypher and is not a monogram. . I've always been fascinated by monograms and loved how amazing the final product can be. Of course you can see this from our logo, which is my favourite monogram ever ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ . If you know other people who are focused on creating monograms feel free to share their names on the comments. . If you are willing to learn making them yourself click the link in the bio and go to the books section. . Tag friends who will appreciate this ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘Œ

You guys ready for another Christmas tutorial?๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿ˜Œ This is a wreath design that Iโ€™ve done two years ago and itโ€™s such a simple yet elegant way to jazz up your cards! I love doing these with Finetec ink for an extra shine โœจ By the hand of @logos_calligraphy โ€”- 1๏ธโƒฃ Draw a circle freehand. I like to keep things organic and not too rigid 2๏ธโƒฃ Start by drawing pine leaves on alternate sides 3๏ธโƒฃ Next, add holly leaves to fill in the spaces 4๏ธโƒฃ Add compound stem leaves, branches to add variety and also to fill in more of that negative space! 5๏ธโƒฃ Draw in some berries with red ink on the branches to add a pop of color 6๏ธโƒฃ You can also do this in all gold! Add a word on top for the finishing touch โค๏ธ โ€”- Hope you guys enjoy! Tag me if you try this Christmas Wreath. Also, if you havenโ€™t seen my โ€œGift Guideโ€ yet on my saved Stories, Finetec is offering 25% off all their ink until the end of the year! Use code: logoscalligraphy โœจ Iโ€™ve been a Finetec fan since day 1 and love the quality of their ink. Itโ€™s so vibrant even on dark paper!

I am in love with hand lettering! I adore the dedication, patience and precision that hand lettering artists like Tomasz put in their works. . It's kinda dream of mine to do such lettering as well and I know I can do it, everyone can do it but first lots of time has to be put in! And I will! I will do it one day! Even now I say it public - this will be one of my goals for 2019. . What are your top 3 goals for 2019?? . Drop your thoughts โฌโฌ . What's your top 3 favourite #discipline pieces from 1 to 10?? . Discipline is a factor key for success, no matter if we talking for Calligraphy, art, business or anything else. . Discipline boosts your self esteem and work ethic. Success comes to those who believe in themselves and who's the hardest worker in the room. This is the reason self discipline is important for success (in our case to master the craft) . Discipline brings stability and structure into person's life.. if they there were no discipline, people would do whatever they wanted and make mistakes without putting the consideration of others first and foremost. It promotes good human behaviour to better society and makes it a more enjoyable place for everyone to live. . All pieces are entries from: @callivember #challenge . Tag friends who might be interested in this. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘Œ . Drop tour thoughts about discipline and why is it important in your opinion โฌโฌ
