IT IS THROUGH FAITH AND PATIENCE THAT WE INH

Friday, 19th April 2019: IT IS THROUGH FAITH AND PATIENCE THAT WE INHERIT WHAT WE HAD EARLIER BEEN PROMISED! The passage, “Cast your bread upon the waters, for after many days you will find it again” (Ecclesiastes 11:1), reminds us that, unlike what the average person would normally expect, it is the fact that bread soaked in water actually attracts fish, is what makes it easy for them to be caught when we are patient enough to wait for them to take the bait, which also serves as an excellent example of faith operating in the realm of the impossible is. In other words, it is through faith and patience that we inherit what we had earlier been promised. So let the knowledge that: 1) Good things happen when God is ready, we are ready and things fit perfectly into His plans for our lives; 2) Even when we are not sure of that which lies ahead, what we can be sure of is that, He is already there waiting; and 3) The fact that we ask means we believe He already has what we need and cares enough to provide for us; teach you, even in these trying times, to keep turning to Him for your daily bread!FG. www.fgtalks.com #praisegod #awesomegod #praisehim #lovehim #celebratehim #faithfulness  #holyness #dailydevotion #dailyword #inspiration #inspirationalwords #beinspired #beawesome #bemotivated #motivation #motivationalwords #word #wordoflife #wordoffaith #wordsofinspiration #wordsofwisdom #wordstoliveby #wordoftheday #instadaily #instaword #instapray #gratitude #attitudeofgratitude  #femigee #fgtalks

fg_talks. WHY CELEBRATE GOOD FRIDAY?

Good Friday, also known as \"Holy Friday,\"

WHY CELEBRATE GOOD FRIDAY? Good Friday, also known as "Holy Friday," is the Friday immediately preceding Easter Sunday. It is celebrated traditionally as the day on which Jesus was crucified, which is why many wonder if indeed, Christians should be celebrating Good Friday. The Bible does not instruct Christians to remember Christ’s death by honoring a certain day, but it does give us freedom in these matters, as in Romans 14:5, “One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.” Rather than remembering Christ's death on a certain day, once a year, the Bible instructs us to remember Christ’s death by observing the Lord’s Supper. First Corinthians 11:24-26 declares, “...do this in remembrance of me...for whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.” What the Jewish authorities and Romans did to Jesus was definitely not good (see Matthew chapters 26-27). However, the results of Christ’s death are very good! According to Romans 5:8, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” First Peter 3:18 tells us, “For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit.” So whether or not Christians choose to “celebrate” Good Friday, the events of that day should be ever on our minds because the death of Christ on the cross—along with His bodily resurrection—is the paramount event of the Christian faith! 🙏🏾👌🏽👍🏾💪🏾👏🏽🤝🏾🤗🌹 #goodfriday #holyfriday #holy #crucifiction #cross #sacrifice #praisegod #awesomegod #praisehim #lovehim #celebratehim #faithfulness #dailydevotion #dailyword #inspiration #inspirationalwords #motivationalwords #wordoflife #wordoffaith #wordsofinspiration #wordsofwisdom #wordstoliveby #wordoftheday #instadaily #instaword #instapray #gratitude #attitudeofgratitude  #femigee #fgtalks

WHEN WE VERBALISE GOD’S WORD IN PRAYER, WE

Thursday, 18th April 2019: WHEN WE VERBALISE GOD’S WORD IN PRAYER, WE ARE PRAYING IN HIS WILL AND AREGUARANTEED A FAVOURABLE HEARING! The passage, ‘“I know you by name and you have found favour with me’” (Exodus 33:12), reminds us that, just as Moses talked with God like a friend, saying what he truly felt and thought, and in the way he said them as his was of mirroring back to God exactly what God had said to him, when we pray, God wants us to remember His promises and speak them in prayer, not because He needs reminding, but because we do. In other words, we should feel free to share our deepest fears with Him. So let the knowledge that: 1) When we verbalise God’s Word in prayer, we are praying in His will and are guaranteed a favourable hearing; 2) His Word is the only word that He is obligated to fulfill and it empowers our prayer; and 3) The more we learn of His Word, the more our prayer time will conform to His will and the more closely aligned we will feel with Him; teach you, every time you pray, to keep your Bible handy so He can direct your thoughts to the words He wants you to pray!FG. www.fgtalks.com #praisegod #awesomegod #praisehim #lovehim #celebratehim #faithfulness  #holyness #dailydevotion #dailyword #inspiration #inspirationalwords #beinspired #beawesome #bemotivated #motivation #motivationalwords #word #wordoflife #wordoffaith #wordsofinspiration #wordsofwisdom #wordstoliveby #wordoftheday #instadaily #instaword #instapray #gratitude #attitudeofgratitude  #femigee #fgtalks

TALKING HONESTLY ABOUT WHERE WE ARE COMIN

Wednesday, 17th April 2019: TALKING HONESTLY ABOUT WHERE WE ARE COMING FROM, AND WHAT WE FEEL, THINK AND DESIRE, IS WHAT BEING FRIENDS WITH GOD IS ALL ABOUT! The passage, ‘The LORD would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend’ (Exodus 33:11), reminds us that, like friends who were trusting and transparent, Moses and God formed a habit of talking to each order in what sounded like a candid exchange between friends, where rather than being disrespectful and because Moses was engaging with a friend who he trusted and felt close to, he could open his heart and say what he thought without fear of being judged. In other words, he felt free to open up completely to God. So let the knowledge that: 1) What God wants with us, is the same kind of relationship He had with Moses; 2) Religious-sounding clichés and the usual run-of-the-mill prayer request list can undermine our opportunity to connect deeply and personally with Him; and 3) Talking honestly about where we are coming from, and what we feel, think and desire, is what being friends with Him is all about; teach you, each time you have a crisis on your hands, to engage Him in a serious conversation!FG.  www.fgtalks.com #praisegod #awesomegod #praisehim #lovehim #celebratehim #faithfulness  #holyness #dailydevotion #dailyword #inspiration #inspirationalwords #beinspired #beawesome #bemotivated #motivation #motivationalwords #word #wordoflife #wordoffaith #wordsofinspiration #wordsofwisdom #wordstoliveby #wordoftheday #instadaily #instaword #instapray #gratitude #attitudeofgratitude  #femigee #fgtalks

Reposted from @benolaboss - AUTISM AWARENESS IN AGBARA: A year ago I was at Agbara Industrial Estate, Ogun State on the invitation of Dr (Mrs) Damilola Olayinka-Aliu Ph.D, Founder/Director Irebamibo Pearl Centre of Hope, the only Autism Centre in that axis of Lagos/Ogun States, to deliver a paper on Cerebral Palsy at an Autism and Neuro-Devopmental Disorders Awareness Conference, which turned out to be a huge success with a large audience, made up of Special Needs Parents, Experts, Carergivers and friends of the Foundation, who participated actively in the Q & A Session. I am therefore looking forward to this years program, where I will be speaking on an issue that we all desperately need to start talking about, 'How managing children with special needs impact on the lives of other family members, (Parents and Siblings)!' So why don't you join me and a host of others for what promises to be a highly informative and interactive session on Autism and Disability Management. Date is Wednesday,  1st May 2019.
