Thank you to @primefitnessmd @christypchuck @ericgirouxfit for having my in for their staff Inservice today. They have an awesome facility and passionate staff with great attention to detail! Talking shop with fellow movement nerds is easily in my list of favorite ways to spend and afternoon. ——————————————————-Today we discussed the importance of specific coaching cues and exercise considerations for the sagittal, frontal, and transverse plane. We went through commonly used exercises in their gym and demonstrated how adapting positioning with simple cues can greatly impact exercise performance, patient perception of effort/benefit, and overall movement efficiency. My goal was to provide simple strategies that could be immediately employed with clients within their existing exercise catalogue.

Happy Friday! One of my favorite Metcon Workouts! The Rookie 6 Hang Cleans 12 Romanian Deadlift 12 Over head press 12 Front Squat Try to complete each exercise without putting the bar down. Try and get through 3-4 rounds with 1-2 minute rest between each round

🏋🏼‍♂️ I am really digging the current program I am using for strength work 🏋🏼‍♂️ Pick a lift. Today was Clean & Press, Barbell bench and assisted pull ups. Choose a weight you could do for 6-8 reps. Set 1 is 1 rep, Set 2 is 2 reps and set 3 is 3 reps. Now repeat that cycle 5 times per exercise. Next time (2-3 days later) increase your load by 3-5%. Over time the pure volume alone increases over all strength greatly and I have found it very joint friendly. Give it a try. Let me know what you think. ✅🤔
