What is this super messy food? It is one of the few rice dishes that I'll eat coz the curry that immersed into the rice makes the rice so soft and flavoury! 😁
Fell in love with mala xiang guo lately! 😍 Too bad I could not take too spicy food, can only order 小辣, if not I think it will be super shiok. 😉👍
Am a big fan of Mookata and 888 Mookata is really not bad especially with the very well marinated meat! 😋😋😋
Cream brulee milk tea - Really really love the brown sugar milk tea from Heytea. It looks very sweet, but the chilled creamy fresh milk managed to balance out the sweetness of the brown sugar syrup that the chewy pearls are boiled in.
Absolutely missing both the dry and soup version of prawn mee. They have another outlet at Zion Road Market. The pork ribs and prawn head were boiled over very long hours to allow for the broth to be extremely tasty. You gotta try it to feel it! 🤗
Wanted to eat Kim Dae Mun but it's closed on Monday! 😱 So we walked to Plaza Sing, searching for other Korean food to satisfy our Korean food craving. Stopped outside Patbingsoo (the awkward squeezy outlet that is located just around the escalator at B1), and decided to give its army stew a try. I would say that, it is pretty decent than I thought. Of course it can't fight other big outlets like Togi, but with its price at $38 per set (2 drinks and 1 side), it is pretty worth it. 😊 #happymonday
Haven't had real cavier until today when I went to TWG for hightea. It is so expensive, 2 pancakes, some cavier, some cream, some assortment and a pot of tea at $54 before GST and SC. B.U.T, it taste SOOOOOOOOO GOOD. OS to ourselves: "oh, so this is how Cavier taste like.." Haha. It is kinda of roasted saltish that goes really well with tea.
One of the few shop that serves good soufflé. 😋
Finally had my craving fixed at SushiTei. 😍
Decided to try something new at Sunday Folks today! Instead of Pistachio softderve ice cream, we tried the Rich Cognac Chocolate Ganache Cake, Japanese Matcha Chiffon with White Chocolate and Dark Chocolate Praline Tart. The Rich Cognac Chocolate Ganache Cake is kind of lower than expectation 🙊. Oh well, probably because it was too highly rated. 😏 Japanese Matche Chiffon with White Chocolate on the other hand is soooo good. So soft and moist. Dark Chocolate Praline Tart is still ok... Praline base is a tad too hard, other than that everything else is good. 😌
Finally had the taste of the highly raved Brown Sugar Milk Tea. We ordered the Brown Sugar Boba with Cream Mousse, as recommended by the shop assistant that it is one of the best seller. Queuing time was about an hour, waiting time for order is pretty fast, 15 mins. Surprisingly, it don't taste as sweet as it looks. (Btw, there is no Sugar level to choose from) Also, the Boba (Big pearl) are super soft! Such that, I don't feel my jaw being sore at all. 😂 Worth to queue for 1 hour? First time yes, subsequently no. Worth to drink again? If <5 mins queue, yes. 🙂
A must-try for all CHOCOLATE LOVERS!!! Just the looks you can tell that the muffin is filled with overdosed chocolate-fullness! 😍 If you are not a chocolate lover, fret not! They serve very superb curry puff too! Omg, I haven't tasted a good curry puff for a long time. As for the chicken pie, it is more towards the creamy which is not my liking.
There are many yummy food in Ghim Moh market. Apart from my favourite Chwee Kueh, there is also an all-time favourite 叉烧烧肉饭. The meat were roasted just nice and juicy. The gravy are so damn good. 😋 Must try if you haven't! 👍
