Cindy Brady = my Monday mood / anyone interested in a Brady Bunch marathon once classes are over and the spring rain settles in?
Last year’s equinox celebration with these three 💐 I’m up to my nose with assignments at the moment and won’t be doing anything extra special this year - however have made time to get outside, embrace change, watch the super moon, and I plan to do some spring cleaning once my academic life quiets down in a few weeks time.
When I was a little girl, I used to sit for hours on our stairs where the sun would shine through our stained glass windows, creating rainbows. I would press my hand up against the beige carpet, so that I too could be embedded with the multicoloured light. For my birthday years later, my dad gifted me a rotating crystal, powered by the sun, to hang in the window and create rainbows throughout the room. Its remained in his living room since, which I have had the pleasure of sitting in every morning for the past week, looking after his home and his dogs while he is off tending to my grandparents on the other side of the country. I love this space, we’ve been here since 1997. The home, the neighbourhood, its sites, sounds, smells, are my safe place. The ultimate comfort food for the other four senses. 🌈✨ so here is to finding comfort in one of the world’s simplest pleasures, warmth and light.
allowing for growth + facilitating emotional stability ✨☀️
Send me photos of my dog while you generously take him to the beach, and you are sure to make my day 20x better 🌊 there is therapeutic power in both our animal friends and the ocean.
