It's been a while since I have posted anything. Here's a little something from earlier in the year with @lee.inge . Since being at sea I have felt some creative blocks but I have been working on myself and have created some cool content with some amazing people which I'll be sharing with you all soon.
First time meeting @luci_fang. Banter began the moment we met. First impressions are one of the key elements in any shoot. If you don't have it then the photo can feel disconnected. This was not one of those types of shoots. Had an absolute blast. Thank you to @brendanleephotography for the introduction. @lisavontang @myessentialself for designing and creating an amazing collection. And a big shout out to @lefuckingnice for letting us play around in the store and putting the outfits together.
New Year. New projects to work on. New people to work with. Currently in the process of a big concept which should be finished by February if not earlier. Looking forward to all the things to come. Bring it on 2K19
“It’s one thing to make a picture of what a person looks like, it’s another thing to make a portrait of who they are.” — Paul Caponigro
"Don't shoot what it looks like. Shoot what it feels like." - David Alan Harvey
Congrats to this amazing and beautiful couple on their recent engagement. Couldn't be happier for them. This was a cool photo to edit. I started out with an edgy and contrast black and white but it was missing the colour and the vibrancy of the neons reflected off of this led wall that I found. So I chose a couple of colours and started painting them back in. And just kept going until I arrived here. All the colours aren't the original ones in the photograph. Looking forward to photographing them over the holidays as an early wedding present.
A cool shot taken in the canals of Venice of my buddy Tom on board Queen Elizabeth. He was very happy with his new profile pic 😂
My floating home from home. Almost at the end of my contract. Then going to try out some new aspects of photography and spend a little more time in front of the lens.
"If I never get to seethe Northern Lights or if I never got to see the Eiffel Tower at night. Oh if all I got was your hand in my hand. Baby I could die a happy man." - Thomas Rhett Taught @eavortherms how to use my camera and she got a great shot of me on an abandoned train car. Doesn't even look like Venice. Makes me look like a country music star in Texas. #poser #astarisborn #countrymusicstar
Finally getting around to posting the @oliveankara collection I shot last month in Singapore. My thought process behind this shoot was to find authentic looking African spots that would make people question where was this taken. It was a challenge with Singapore being a metropolis full of skyscrapers. Also I wanted to bring some of that Wakanda magic into the fold. “To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.” — Elliott Erwitt
“There is one thing the photograph must contain, the humanity of the moment.” — Robert Frank
