Tucked away in the streets of Jalan Besar inside a boutique hotel, @enjoyeatinghouse is a hidden gem serving up delicious zi char style local dishes. They have affordable lunch sets priced at just $7.80++ and they are opened till 1am, so you know where to jio your friends next for supper! 😉 Here's some dishes that we managed to try!~ . 1️⃣Singapore Style Chilli Prawns ($17.80) My favourite of the night. Fat and succulent jumbo prawns swimming in a pool of chilli crab sauce that was full of flavour with just the right level of heat for me. Highly recommend getting some (or alot) of their fried mantous to mop up the delicious sauce with. 😍 Served hot with a crisp exterior, the mantous were not too dense and pillowy soft on the inside. 😋👍🏻 . 2️⃣Grandma's "Te Kah" Bee Hoon ($11.80) The wok hei in this was really impressive 😋 the bee hoon was soaked in sauce that was flavourful yet not overly salty. The consistency of the bee hoon reminded me of the oyster mee sua thats so famous in Taiwan night markets. . 3️⃣Ugly Cabbage in Fish Sauce ($9.80) Although I've not had the best experience with dishes involving fish sauce, this dish surprisingly agreed with my palate. The crunchy vegetables soaked up the flavourful sauce perfectly. . . 4️⃣Chef Joel's Brandy White Fish Soup ($11.80) Strong and flavourful soup which is achieved through long hours using fish bones. However, I found it a little too fishy for my liking 😅 . 5️⃣Chef Joel's BBQ Pork Cheek ($14.80) Premium pork cheek grilled to perfection and served with secret special sauce. . Thank you @enjoyeatinghouse for feeding us and @singapore.eats for the kind invite as always!💕✨😊

Viral Dont miss Out!!! . Media: @Singapore.Eats Sponsor: : @heyhahsg Insider : @fatpigdiary . . . @heyhahsg 's range of healthy and tasty snacks would definitely please both the health conscious and the not, with 8 different flavours to choose from-Broccoli, tomatoes, onions, okra, jackfruit, mangoes, bananas and pineapples. Their snacks are all made of 100% REAL fruits and vegetables, with the promise of no artificial additives or MSG! . . The broccoli chips were interesting indeed, and my favourite of the vegetable chips-a whole broccoli spear in its original form, but dehydrated. I haven't seen anything quite like it before! 😹 . . For those seeking stronger flavours, I would reccommend going for the onion chips or the tomatoes, which carried a slight tanginess. On the other hand, the Okra would perhaps appeal to those seeking a milder flavour. . If you prefer fruit chips, do get the jackfruit chips which really came into a close tie with the broccoli for me haha😝 I did think that the banana was a little too sweet though. . With so many flavours to choose from, there will definitely be one for you! Thank you @singapore.eats and @heyhahsg for sending over these snacks for me to munch on!😋😊 . . . #singapore.eats #singaporeeats #burpple #burpplesg #foodinsg  #foodsg #visitsingapore #instafood_sg #sgeats #sgfood #sgfoodblog  #sgfooddiaries #sgfooddiary #sgfoodiary  #sgfoodie #sgfoodies #sgfoodgram

@TeaVillaCafeSingapore has been an addition to Singaporean food scene for over a year. Originated from Mumbai, India, the store stocks more than 100 types of tea and is 100% vegetarian-friendly 🤗🌿.I was Invited by @Singapore.Eats the best of the best ❤ to sample an array of dishes and although a few left a lot to be desired, our night was fulfilled by fantastic customer service and hearty food. When 1️⃣🍄 Mushroom Bites and 2️⃣🥔 Potato Skin were brought out, we gasped in unison. They both smelled amazing and proven to be 2 of the more wonderful appetisers I've had in a long time. Button mushroom was a juicy base, centred by mixture of cheese and mushroom, topped with tangy chopped olives. Them baby potatoes was my dish of the night 😍, oozing out cheesy goodness while keeping the integrity of starchy potatoes at the same time. 3️⃣🍝 Maggie noodles gave us a brief introduction of Indian college students' diet (much like students all over the world tbh ) and we were immensely impressed with them crunchy potato wedges that came with 4️⃣🍔 Shroom Burger. The burger itself though was a tad dry if it wasn't for the peri-peri mayo. We had fun dipping sautéd veggies and toasty bread into 5️⃣🧀 Cheese Fondue, just wish the cheese consistency was less runny and had more body to it. If all things cheese became too much, refresh your palate with some tea like we did! Sour hibiscus 🌺, gentle rose oolong 🌹, floral pondicherry 🌸 or fragrant guava-flavoured tea 🌱, the list is endless and would be sure to satisfy even the pickiest tea drinkers! __________________ℹ️____________________ . 👅1️⃣ Mushroom Bites // 💸 SGD 10 . 👅2️⃣ Potato Skin // 💸 SGD 12 . 👅3️⃣ Villa Special Maggie // 💸 SGD 8 . 👅4️⃣ Grilled Shroom Burger // 💸 SGD 14 . 👅5️⃣ Cheese Fondue // 💸 SGD 15 . 🍵 Hibiscus Tea // 💸 SGD 9 . 🍵 Rose Oolong Tea // 💸 SGD 9 . 🍵 Pondicherry Fruit Tisane // 💸 SGD 10 . 🍵 Guava Flavoured Tea // 💸 SGD 14 . 🏠 Tea Villa Cafe . 📍 97 East Coast Rd . 🕛 12pm - 10pm #singapore.eats #singaporeeats #burpple #burpplesg #foodinsg  #foodsg #visitsingapore #instafood_sg #sgeats #sgfood #sgfoodblog  #sgfooddiaries #sgfooddiary #sgfoodiary  #sgfoodie #sgfoodies #sgfoodgram

Viral. Media: @Singapore.Eats Sponsor: : @fussyducksg Insider: @fatpigdiary . . If you're looking for a unique dining experience with exquisite food items and environment yet at affordable prices, @fussyducksg should definitely be at the top of your list of considerations!😊 Heres some of the other dishes we tried besides those I've already shared ~ . . . 1️⃣To start off~ we had this Quinoa crisp with sago which was really refreshing and made a good appetiser. Definitely a great way to start the meal! . . . 2️⃣Potato and Leek Soup with Truffle oil- This dish was particularly interesting because the soup is pumped into your glass using a special equipment which made the soup foamy and real light so that you won't get jelat from the richness of the taste. It was so good that I just had to go for seconds!😋 . . . 3️⃣Eggplant and tomato caviar Being not much of a fan of eggplants and tomatoes, this dish surprised me with how good it tasted. I loved the pastry base that it was set upon, which reminded me of the crisp and flaky outer layer of croissants. . . . 4️⃣Truffle Ravioli This was actually one of my favourite dish of the night! The ravioli is handmade by the chef. Its cooked to a perfectly al dente texture and the strong, buttery fragrance that hit my senses as I popped each little dumpling into my mouth was so heavenly (and sinful😝) Also, just look at that heap of black truffle 😍 . . . 5️⃣Chocolate Mousse Of course, no meal is complete without desserts! This chocolate mousse was right up my alley. The chef uses high-quality belgian chocolate (54.5%), result in a smooth and chocolatey cake sure to please dark chocolate lovers. Encased within is The combination of mango and chocolate was one that definitely agreed with me😋 . . . Thank you @Singapore.Eats for the invite you guys are the Best ❤ and @fussyducksg for a wonderful night filled with good food and good company 😊 . . #singapore.eats #singaporeeats #burpple #burpplesg #foodinsg  #foodsg #visitsingapore #instafood_sg #sgeats #sgfood #sgfoodblog  #sgfooddiaries #sgfooddiary #sgfoodiary  #sgfoodie #sgfoodies #sgfoodgram  #passionmadepossible
