Advertisements, celebrities, influencers pushing the latest trend or diet. . 😟 It’s confusing, I completely understand why people are so confused. Like I said, we’ve been brainwashed over the years. . 🤘🏼But let me tell you this. The basic principle of any successful fat loss diet is a calorie deficit. That is always going to be the most important thing in the fat loss equation. Period. . 🤷🏼‍♂️ So if you choose to achieve that calorie deficit through a Ketogenic diet, intermittent fasting or whatever then that’s up to you. . 🦄 But it’s not magical and it’s not superior to just achieving that calorie deficit without doing those things. . 👉🏼😐 Get that into your head. It’s empowering and actually reassuring! . 📉 Regardless, if fat loss is a goal then you are going to have to find a way that is sustainable for you. Sustainable doesn’t mean easy. Fat loss isn’t easy for most people. It’s hard. I get it! . 😅 However it’s easier when it’s not restrictive and you can live your life with only some small sacrifices. Gym choice. - This is VERY important. - If you're wanting the most development, the highest motivation, then you must choose your gym wisely. - If you're training somewhere that is not fully kitted out to suit your needs then you're immediately at a disadvantage. - If youre lucky, you will have a well put together gym, options on machines, plenty of DB's that go high enough for you, you don't want to be hindered by lack of weights! - Then take full advantage of the set up and the vibe within that environment. - If I'm wanting a crazy workout then I will head over to UltraFlex, the equipment there is literally insane. I almost get a placebo affect from the atmosphere and equipment, i almost always hit a new PB on every visit. - Go and find your perfect gym, don't settle for a commercial gym just because it's cheap or you will be short changing your results !!!
