Protien is an essential macronutrient that we require for bodily function. Although what is the truth when it comes to dosage? Bro science says " Bro, you gotta make sure you consume atleast 1.5 - 2 grams per pound of body weight to gain. Trust me bro, you will see the difference". Now if you believe in bro science, then I'm sure you have fallen into this trap. Well be prepared to have your paradigm shattered. SCIENCE shows, that our bodies require 0.7 - 0.8 grams per pound of body weight. I would even say that if you are trying to put on some lean mass a little quicker then normal, you could stretch as far as 1 gram per pound of bodyweight. These are parameters assuming that you are an active individual. If you are not however, you should stick to 0.5 grams per pound of bodyweight. Remember guys , having protien every meal is still important, although overconsumption can have much more adverse effects than you bargained for. When you’re lifting weights the load doesn't change during the movement. This is bc you're lifting an object of a constant mass. The “problem” with this is that this constant load will not place a maximal stimulation throughout the whole ROM. . By using a combination of free weights and resistance bands at the same time, you can overload the whole ROM since the bands will increase resistance as they're stretched 💯 But the bands don't just add resistance to the concentric portion of the lift, they also increase eccentric acceleration. By trying to lower the weight slowly, you’re increasing the intensity of the stimulus 📈 muscle growth. . On a side note, it’s good to be back 💪🏻 . @dejangrujcic @valkyrie_gym
