I've started low bar squatting which seems to have taken some weight off of my quad pain which still persists. Managed to work up to set of 8 with 80kg without much discomfort so that's pretty cool 🙂 I've also put more of an emphasis on hamstrings to compensate, which I do every other day now! Got an ultrasound today but I doubt anything will show up just like last time. Si tomamos consciencia de que la columna vertebral es el eje de la salud y la serenidad, podremos establecer la importancia que tiene el trabajo de movilizar cada vertebra y cada área de la espina dorsal en la estructura de una sesión de Yoga. Los movimientos posibles sobre la columna vertebral son: la flexión hacia adelante, la extensión, flexiones laterales y torsiones. Además, se pueden combinar estos movimientos realizando posturas que contengan, por ejemplo, una flexión y una torsión combinadas. Es importante destacar que cada zona, naturalmente, permite diferentes grados de movilidad y que es por ello que existen también distintas posturas que hacen hincapié en la torsión de una parte específica de la columna y su entorno. Torsiones En este sentido, el yoga clásico propone algunas posturas típicas como la Torsión sentado (Matsyendrasana), o su popular media postura, la Media torsión sentado (Ardha Matsyendrasana).
