Me: ima train on 2hrs of sleep My last two brain cells: *drops plate on toes during dl warmups* • 5x5 1 1/2 squats top set 170 185x5x8 pause deads w 5sec eccentric (first 4 reps of last set shown bc vid too long) • Got off work this morning and napped for 2hr before meeting my frands for a session 🥴. Lifts felt pretty good considering. I thought my toe broke but I was able to finish my dl sets and walk around so I doubt it. Happy hump day 😊🙏 - Pleased with this booty pump today. Keeping today’s post short and sweet and talking about something I think is super crucial when it comes to being successful in the gym is getting my head in the right place before starting your workout, before even going into a working set. - Well here’s a few tips to maybe try if you get to the gym and feel anxious or not “I’m the mood” - 1️⃣. Go to the bathroom even if it’s in a stall to get some quiet time to yourself. Allow yourself to not be influenced or triggered by anything that’s around you and become centered. - 2️⃣. Listen to a go to calm song or get in the zone sign. For me personally I know music can be a huge help and assistance for not being in the mood or wanting to be in the gym especially if it’s crowded which happens sometimes. - 3️⃣. Lastly is allow yourself mat time. sometimes getting on the mat and getting to just move your body freely to allow yourself a chance to relax from the inside out before beginning training 😊⭐️ - Hope these tips helped and have an awesome Wednesday ❤️⭐️
