Every single breath we take requires the spine to move. We don’t want it to be stiff, straight, and unnmoving. . I’m really trying to find my happy place. It’s been 4 weeks from today that I injured my knee. I had no clue that I would still be struggling to find peace. Although, I’m unable to sleep through the night due to pain. I’m feeling stronger and I’m grateful to be able to continue my yoga journey. All the time I was trying to gaze into the mirror to make sure I’m in the right position and everything looks as at Pinterest pic but each time I did that I was loosing my balance and practically was falling down onto the mat. It was truly really irritating. . Once I decided to leave this habit and forget about mirrors at least for a while, just breath and listen to my inner self. And you know what? It worked! My asanas started to became better each time and I’ve finally learned to cope with balancing. . Day 5 of #summeryogavibes - powerful like a warrior! . . . Today when I got home I had to feed and walk my dogs to the park before the pouring rain got to us. We get to the park it’s drizzling my little tiny dog does his thing. Then there is my big Apollo Dobie, he is sooo precise about what position, angle, and where he does his business. HE IS THE REASON WE GOT STUCK IN THE RAIN 😂 all three of us were booking it back to the apartment soaked.
