Mastering the pistol squat 🔫 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I definitely haven’t mastered these yet but I’m improving 🤷🏼‍♀️ I find these to be such a challenging move, lowering myself down is no problem but I cannot get back up again 😅 (as demonstrated in one video) but I’m determined to get them⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So this is what I’m doing to help me progress, thanks @cf_castrum for the tips 🤓 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - Use a plate as it makes it easier to lower down and keep the balance - Use a resistance band or TRX to help pull up again - Practice close squats to build up quad strength ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’ve been doing 2/3 each leg for about 4/5 sets and giving myself enough rest in between

Do you prefer cutting or bulking? (i enjoy eating loads of foods so i prefer bulking😂) - Yesterday was my final day of my mini cut. I managed to go from 185lbs to below 165lbs. During my clean bulk I want to get back up to around 185-195lbs but be way more lean then my last bulk (aka the dirty bulk) and maintain that for a while and see what numbers I can put up on bench squat and deadlift. Although I won’t primarily be training for strength (main goal is to put on as muscle size as possible) there should be some solid new PR’s on all my lifts. - Goals for this bulk: ✖️Goal Bench: 315 ✖️Goal Squat: 475 ✖️Goal Deadlift: 500
