My dears, If you're just going give in and surrender to anything, let it be towards be more knowledge, wisdom, and awareness. Offer up your energy to honour, cultivate, and balance both your inner and outer worlds. Elevate and purify your body-temple and don't forget to set aside time to appreciate the ever changing beauty in nature. Life is really not that difficult so long as you don't make it so. If you were really serious about being your best then you'd be smart to 'spend' some of your time designing a daily regiment/ritual for yourself and executing it. Then, and only then can you watch with every sunrise and every moonrise how each phase/cycle leads you deeper and deeper into your metamorphosis and not towards your destruction. I love you all. I read somewhere that Tiger pose somehow replicates tiger when he wakes up, but I don’t see it?!?🙈 I’ve endured lots of injustices in past, especially on my lower half but this pose definitely simulates spine and lengthens it, especially if you’re a couch potato, definitely do this every now and then.✌🏻 . . . . Day 2 of #Addicted2Inversions . . Okay, I absolutely love reading. So why not in a pincha 😂. Anyways, I've read this book before but today I felt compelled to pick up again, thanks Universe 🥰 So here is a quote from today's chapter. Consider this "life's work" something that speaks to you from within a voice. This voice will often warned you when you were getting involved with unnecessary entanglements or when you are about to follow career paths that are unsuited to your character, by the uneasiness that you feel. It directs you toward activities and goals that match with your nature/ frequency. When you are listening to it, you feel like you have a greater clarity and wholeness. If you listen closely enough it will direct you toward your particular destiny. It can be seen as something spiritual or something personal or both. It is not the voice of your ego which wants attention and quick gratification, something that further divides you from within. Rather it absorbs you and your work and what you have to do. It is sometimes hard to hear as your head is full of the voices of others telling you what you should and should not do. Hearing it involves introspection, effort, and practice. When you follow its guidance, positive things tend to happen. You have the inner strength to do what you must and not be swayed by other people who have their own agendas. Hearing this voice will connect you to your larger goals and help you to avoid detours. It will make you more strategic, focused, and adaptive. Once you hear it and understand your purpose there will be no going back. Your course has been set and deviating from it will cause anxiety and pain. Have you ever considered the most significant confidence boost exists in your body's physiology? It's my favourite pick me up. Whenever I underestimate my goodness, I think of my lungs. The right lung of the human body has three lobes, while the left lung has only two - to make room for the heart. By design, you/me/we are by nature, very accommodating when it comes to matters of the heart. It's right there in our physiology. On days when I question whether I'm doing enough, I think of my diaphragm. On the inhale, the diaphragm works by contracting. And on the exhale, it relaxes. Reminding me that, by design, the body takes in breath/life with vigor; breath can be as deep and as full as I'll allow. Exhaling is lighter and more relaxed; the output is less efforted.  Therefore, I would do best to do the same. Otherwise, I'm working against my physiology. As OSHO says, the more we know our body, the more spiritually full we can live. I believe that Anatomy without Physiology misses essential details while studying both offers a beautiful picture of our nature, by design. I haven’t really practiced splits itself, but I commit to more basics and do it everyday. Everyday-practice has changed my body. What makes Yoga practice powerful is a commitment. Ashtanga Yoga which I practice has the idea of continuation. The idea is that you need practice everyday to get better at your self physically and mentally. It’s a big commitment for most of us to do something everyday. If you could do something for an hour everyday. It becomes 365 hours after one year! Gladwell explains that reaching the 10,000-Hour Rule, which he considers the key to success in any field, is simply a matter of practicing a specific task that can be accomplished with 20 hours of work a week for 10 years. Keep on working. Never give up. You will see the progress. You will surprise yourself with how much you can grow.
