💎 4-POINT MULTIFIDUS ACTIVATION ℹ️ Inner Unit Activation ▶️ Time to activate the 360 virtual belt each one of us has of which the multifidus is part of. When u say multifidus I mean specifically the lumbosacral fibers. ⬇️ Shoulders and wrist as well as hips and knees aligned. Be mindful of your weight distribution and start with 50/50. ⬇️ Lift your head and heck from the thorasic portion of your spine achieving full extension while shifting your thorax up towards the ceiling. ⬇️ Wrap your scapulaes around your ribcage using the serratus and low trap muscles. ⬇️ Keep your body and spine long and elbows locked. Best to relax your legs and feet. ⬇️ Arch your very low back specifically the lumbosacral part. By fully extending the lumbosacral as well as the thorasic parts of your spine you'll prevent the lumber and thoraco-lumbar portions hyperextending. ⬇️ While maintaining all of the above draw your navel into your spine and try to feel the 360 belt tightening up including your deep, low back muscles. ⬇️ Pull one of your legs up 'using' the back muscles on the same side imagining you're gently jumping your leg into your hip socket. Hold for 3-10 sec. ⬇️ Your goal is to perform this small yet powerful movement with minimal movement maintaining your alignement. Accumulate 60 + sec on each side. ✴️ BUILDING A STRONG, LEAN AND HEALTHY BODY FOR THE FUTURE
