I’ve done it! As of today, I have officially followed my meal plan for a whole frickin week! The past 7 days have been extremely challenging and I’m not going to lie, eating 3 meals and 3 snacks each day, took everything I had. There were tears, breakdowns, and lots of support needed but that’s okay, because I god damn did it anyways. In the past when things would get hard, I would always turn to ED or self-harm behaviors, but for the first time in months, I didn’t and that’s exciting. I know its only 1 week, but the small victories are still important. I’m proud of myself for making it this far. Here’s to week 2!

Desde pequeña he lidiado con una piel delicada, que si la depilo se irrita, si tengo acné se mancha y si me estiro le salen estrías facilmente. Con el tiempo he luchado con el complejo que éstos factores generan, también he tratado de entender que así es y ya está, que será la piel que me vestirá por el resto de mi vida, que mi cuerpo cambia y aunque podría escoger métodos que lo "mejoren" a fin de cuentas todos éstos son factores estéticos que no me definen. Entonces ¿Por qué ocultarlos siempre? Si no he de ser la única con ello, si es natural... . Es así como me planteé Fracciones de mí como el mayor acto de valentía hasta ahora en el camino a la aceptación por mis pliegues, manchas y vellos, que no por nada los tengo . ¿Se han fijado que aveces los líos que nos creamos no son más que mentales? hoy no me gustó lo que vi en el espejo 👇🏽 . . . . Hoy me desperté con más tiempo en la mañana, a veces eso puede ser arma de doble filo, porque tengo más tiempo para mi. Algunos días ese tiempo es para darme amor y sentirme bien, tiempo de calidad con mi reflejo y mi corazón. A veces ese tiempo se convierte en la oportunidad perfecta para criticar cada centímetro de lo que veo. Hoy, fue eso último. Pude tomar la ruta fácil: desquitar ese desagrado con mi cuerpo, metiéndole zancadilla, comiendo en exceso, subiéndole volumen a la voz en mi cabeza que repite "no sos suficiente." A mi cuerpo, que es mi casa, mi acompañante de toda la vida. Tomé la ruta difícil, pero la que mejor conozco. Vine a hacer lo que sé hacer mejor: este deporte tan bonito que no juzga tu cuerpo por cómo se ve, si no por lo que hace por ti cada día, en cada workout, en cada sesión extra. Toma la ruta difícil un día de estos, no te vas a arrepentir, el camino más largo suele ser el de las vistas más bonitas. D+E: It somehow isn't important what that problem is. There must be a radical way of removing the obstacles it brings. Remember what it is you want in your life and start the line of thought from there. When you figure out what keeps you from your goal start digging your way. You'll see that with every shovel, every move you make shows more clearly that the obstacles are not your focus but what you desire is the center of your attention as the problem becomes smaller, loose and finally gives up. Much like thunder clouds dissipating after the storm. Keep going! 🌱 Es ist irgendwie nicht wichtig, was das Problem ist. The booty! The abs! The posture! So many amazing progressions in my fitness have come to me in the last 6 weeks. I’ve worked so hard to push myself in every Transform:20 workout. I had some bad days and I gave up a little more then I should have but I kept pushing past the exhaustion because as long as I finished the workout I was proud. It’s been a year of ups and downs in my fitness and health and I’m finally happy to say I’m back on track! I want to say thank you to my amazing trainer @shaunt for his words of encouragement and the real rawness of his personality.
