After mostly #bodyweighttraining with about 6-8 actual lifting sessions over the past 2 months, I’ve been feeling stronger then in the past, so I decided to show up today to test the #feels. Haven’t #squatted over 305 since I blew my back out squatting about 5 years ago. Warmed up to a single of 315 with an RPE of 8ish then dropped down to 255 for 3x5 with some French contrast #plyometrics to follow. In that post workout moment I honesty felt like if I had @dr.patdavidson screaming at me that I’m a little bitch I could have probably added 20-30 pounds and not moved the RPE. I then began to listen to @aubreymarcus podcast with @drjoedispenza as I roamed around #bali which dives deep into the #epigenetics of how your thoughts dictate your internal/external environment, which I feel like since my back injury has been this never ending story of #fear that I’ll re-injure myself. That story ended today. My excitement to start to push my physiology to new limits is pulsating throughout my #soul. What stories do you tell yourself that hold you back?
