Left: 5 weeks out from Alphalete Summer Shredding this past June 2018. ~127 lbs. eating 1600 calories. . Right: December 27 (yes even after eating whatever during christmas) 2 months into bulking with my coach. 129 lbs. eating 2200 calories. . Crazy what consistency, building up your metabolism, and eating MORE can do for your body. Taking the time to work on my metabolism off season, sahving my quads down through high volume leg training, and consistency - not having cheat days or weekends, tracking my weekend outings and staying on track = the difference between the two physiques.

you have to get uncomfortable to move forward👉🏼 sometimes… 20lbs up from a year ago😉 . I will be honest @ 140lbs…. I am not always comfortable in my own skin😱, weighing this much, feeling heavy, clothes fitting differently, and accepting all that comes with eating more, and seeing that scale go up. The mind🤯 takes over sometimes. . most days I'm OK 👌🏼👌🏼with it because I know the outcome will be greater in the end, and there is no reason to be skinny & lean 24/7 but I would be lying if it doesn’t get to me🤷🏼‍♀️We are all human and we all have emotions. Y aunque suene súper cliché, si no aceptamos el hoy, no lo haremos después. - El sentirte cómodo con tu cuerpo no se consigue cambiándolo. Yo solía pensar que esa era la solución, pero la realidad es que eso se consigue aceptándote, amándote, cambiando tus actitudes y maneras de pensar, haciendo las pases con tu cuerpo 💜 - Quiero que aprendas a sentirte sin juzgarte y que tomes ese material “sombra” y lo pongas a trabajar para TI, que aprendas a negociar con tus dos partes -lo bueno y lo que te han hecho pensar que "no es bueno"- porque todo, bueno o malo, es un concepto relativo que se forma según lo que hayas adquirido y hayas absorbido de la sociedad, cultura, entorno y generación. - Es importante recordar que no siempre se van a tener días espectaculares con pensamientos positivos, pero sí se tienen herramientas para trabajar en mejorar y avanzar y se entiende que esos pensamientos no tienen por qué definir tu día👌🏼

However, I need to get more serious about my nutrition and eating habits. ⁣ ⁣ They say abs are made in the kitchen but so are brownies 🤷🏼‍♀️🤪 ⁣ ⁣ Finding balance with your goals is necessary. I want to get stronger and build up muscle but I also want abs. ⁣ ⁣ So, is it possible? Personally I think it is. When you want to build up muscle, you’re generally going to have a little extra BF to work with. Aka bulking. However our bodies will respond differently due to our genetic makeup. Meaning some of us will hold onto more BF and some of us won’t. ⁣ ⁣ How can you do it? Keep eating wholesome foods that fallow your macros. Aka increased intake. Keep your cheat meals limited- 1 or 2 per week. Hiring a Coach vs buying a Meal plan? - For some the difference between the two is clear as day however for a lot of people they do not understand what separates them. - I get tons of inquiries for “diet/meal plans” without understanding what the benefit is from getting a coach. - ⠀⠀ Meal plans,macros or your diet are simply one aspect of working with a coach & while this is clearly an important part it’s not the only thing that matters. - ⠀⠀ What you get out of a coach (a good one I should say) is more than a diet. A coach is a mentor, a teacher, a friend, someone to hold you accountable for when your motivation is low. - ⠀⠀ A meal plan on its own doesn’t give a shit if you reach your goals. It doesn’t help you deal with cravings.
