Before deciding to make it, i was running through mcdonalds to get 2 breakfast burritos and a coffee... couldn’t be that bad, well I was consuming 1,280 calories every time I did that! Nutrition is something that needs to be followed on a daily basis and that is where most people fail! Each day is a new start and the result of the previous day must be left behind - it doesn’t matter if you hit your macros or not, you need to do it all over again anyway! 🤷🏼‍♂️ . While on a deficit/fat loss phase, you are probably on a slight deficit for x amount of time. Lets take the deficit to be 300 calories. Monday through Saturday, you have been super dedicated and on track and you successfully create a deficit of 300x6 = 1800 kcals. Good job! 🙌🏼 . But come Sunday, the devil inside you rises and you go onto eat a 2000 kcal (approx) meal + dessert, maybe more. Damn! It doesn’t feel like so much (never does) because what you’ve eaten might be a delicious pizza, pasta, or burger etc. followed by a rich chocolatey mud pie. Getting in such calories is never a problem right? 😛 . But what did this eventually do? The 1800 kcal deficit created with utmost hard working over 6 days was demolished by one/two crazy meals. Is it worth it? Not really! Because you need to do it all over again. Instead of an impromptu cheat meal, we should always go according to plan and stick to maybe one cheat meal in 2-3 week (if needed) or better still follow a flexible diet that allows you to eat the foods you like as long as you track your calories and macro intake in order to stay within your calorie limit! 👍🏼 . Don’t think of it as an added problem in your life, you have too many anyway! EAT MORE FOR LESS . I don't know about you but I would definately like to eat more chips and would go for the ones on the right without doubt.-Less calories, even better. . Traditional chips 312calorie chips High in trans fats due to the way people cook it. I.e deep fried, add butter . 174calorie chips 200g potatoes with oil spray 180 degrees for 15mins, seasoned with salt, pepper and a choice of spices. Skin left on for fibre. . NO NEED TO GIVE UP THE FOODS YOU LOVE, MAKE BETTER CHOICES AND EASY SWAPS. Like if you want more easy swaps. #healthy
