Have you ever heard things about your appearance that you're like, "Ummm... what are you talking about?" . "I appreciate that you are interested enough in my appearance that you feel the need to state your opinions." . "However, your perception is not my reality and in fact your perception is not your reality either." . What I mean is, we often make assumptions (positive and negative) about someone's appearance from a picture. . Yet, that picture may not even be an accurate reflection of what they look like on a daily basis. . Here is an example. When I am not flexing, posing, or if I stood further away from a mirror 🤳I would appear much more realistic to my every day look. . Now, after I lift upper body if I am hydrated and have some carbs on board I will appear to be SO MUCH BIGGER than I really am (for about an hour). . Now, if we add some posing and standing closer to a mirror I will appear even BIGGER. Especially, if I pop my hips back slightly and bring my upper body closer to the mirror (keeping my lower body back slightly). . Regardless, if I am a she Hulk or not I love the body that I have earned. However, for those who quickly jump to COMPARE-VILL (we all have been there at some point in our lives) I hope you found this helpful. . Very little of what we see on social media is exactly how it is in real life. So, instead of freaking out, beating yourself up, judging or feeling bad about what you see online try to use it in a way that benefits you. . . . . 😬 Let’s talk INSECURITIES....we ALL have them! 😬⁣ ⁣ This is how I used to smile for every single photos.....I remember hating my smile 😬since I was a preteen. Howdy ya'll? It's been a great day. Hope you're having a great day. You can have anything in life you want if you are just willing to take the first step. Just a step today, another step tomorrow and another one the day after, and this way you'll have it one day. I like to take action on anything I want in life, even though they may seem imperfect at the moment its fine by me. I learnt one thing that if I thought too much about something I eventually don't take action. Mostly those moments are caused by too much analysis - they're called analysis paralysis. Or I failed to take action because I was too overwhelmed or just upright lazy. If it doesn't matter to you, you'll not do anything about it. What is it that you want out of life? Do you want to be your own boss? Own your own business? Make income and also have the freedom to live life on your terms? Maybe you have desires to travel, meet people, have that kind of freedom. All you gotta do is take a small step of action today that moves you towards the dream you've got inside your head. Find all the motivation you need to do that one step that will move you towards your dream. I know your dreams to travel and make money matters so much, just spend your focusing and doing only that. Just do it even if isn't right. Imperfect is better than nothing at all. Also, imperfect action gives you motivation to figure the rest out. PERCEPTION SHIFT ✨ When you think about it in this way, the amount of time we “waste” sulking around about something that someone else said or did seems so silly and ridiculous. In every moment, we get to choose. This can be hard given a lot of us have been conditioned to automatically revert into victim mentality. Let alone if you’re stubborn like me and stand your mother f’ing ground at every turn 😂 This is something that I know a lot of us are working through, becoming aware of how we react to people, actions and words. But the real test? Being able to witness when you’ve chosen victim, and switch out of it. Pulling yourself back up. Not letting that small thing affect how the rest of your day goes. There was another quote I remember reading ages ago that said something along the lines of “Was it really a bad day? Or was it just a bad 10 minutes that you milked for the rest of the day?” It made me become more self aware. More conscious in how I choose to react. I find this challenging but rewarding. Ego says don’t let them get away with it. Soul says let it go. Ego says hold their ass accountable. Soul says send them love. Ego says you have to sit in this negative anger for the rest of the day. Soul says forgive and move on. It’s important to take the time to get to know your own automatic reactions, the subconscious programming of what you do or say and how you feel about different situations in the heat of the moment. Challenge yourself to keep this concept in mind next time you’re frustrated or pissed off at someone. Think about all the money you would be throwing down the drain if your seconds were dollars. Acknowledge what happened. Accept that it happened. Send the person or situation love. Forgive them. And move the hell on. ❤️
