Off season thickness! January 1st will be the start of my mini cut so I’m just over here enjoying some extra food, extra body fat and a more lax mindset with counting macros! - I’m very happy with the progress I’ve made in my chest! Small changes are starting to show here and there. I have a long way to go to really bring it up, but I’ll always be happy with even the smallest change/improvement! - Are you following the Daily Pump? Squeezing as hard as possible each rep. - Ending my workout with these. Using a close V grip attachment and turning it upside down! What's really cool about this exercise is it's a fixed motion, meaning you don't have to worry about stabilizing dumbbells or a barbell, all you have to do is press it up and control it down! - Safety tip 👉 Notice how the safety pins are up high enough that when I am in the full stretch on a rep or done with the movement I can set it down and not get stuck. TRX push ups. . Nice push up variation here...though it’s even better if you have a set of rings. . The unstable support will force your shoulder stabilizers to work extra hard to control the movement. Building more dynamic stability through the shoulders is ALWAYS a good thing. . It will also build functional strength, do wonders for your physique and transfer well to the bench press. All round, it’s a solid exercise for pain-free pressing gains 💪 . 📝 Note: It’s a good idea to prop your feet up so your body is in a nice straight line. . 📝 Note 2: note that I am externally rotating through the shoulders as I press (palms up). This is important to maintain good shoulder positioning and nicely stacked joints (wrists, elbows, shoulders). . 📝 Note 3: SQUEEZE your butt. That low back should be flat and the core engaged to maintain a rigid torso. If you lose position here..the whole movement will be a mess. . Keep in mind that symptoms can vary between men and women. There are five main signs of a heart attack.  1. Pain or discomfort in the chest. This is usually at the center of the chest and can last more than a couple of minutes. It usually feels like a squeezing, fullness, uncomfortable pressure or pain.  2. Lightheadedness, nausea, or vomiting.  3. Jaw, neck or even back pain.  4. Pain in the shoulder or arm.  5. Shortness of breath, this does not necessarily happen with chest pain." Squats today worked up to 365 for a double. (185, 225, 275, 315, 345, 365x2) Goal was to keep the depth a little higher to prevent any posterior rotation of the pelvis. Been focusing a lot of attention on mobility and stabilization. Trying to stay healthy is most important, will try to ease back into the heavy lifts into the next few weeks and see where I peak at!
