the simplest and most “plain” meals are sometimes the best ones 😋🤩 made a salad for lunch today with spinach, cherry tomatoes, orange pepper, and @traderjoes sausage-less sausage (made from soy & vegetables). super easy to cut up all the ingredients and cooking the sausage only took 10 minutes!! i also squeezed half a lemon onto it and topped with lemon pepper!! it was delicious and so refreshing✨

SALTED HONEY AND FIG COOKIES🤤 Not only are these cookies pretty, they taste SO good and are dairy free, grain-free, gluten free, and refined sugar free! I got this recipe from @thenakdkitchen and modified it just a bit to fit me. I used a little less maple syrup than it calls for along with no chocolate chips! Instead I used fresh organic black figs, a little extra pink salt, and a drizzle of honey. The full recipe will be saved in my stories!

I took my tried and true collagen brownie recipe (recipe here and linked in bio ➡️➡️➡️ https://www.noexcusesnutrition.com/collagen-protein-brownies/), swapped out the almond butter for chocolate hazelnut butter and reduced the sweetener by half. Then, instead of adding chocolate chips to the batter, I whisked them together with 1/4 cup hot almond milk in a small bowl to make a sugar free ganache.🤤 Then I slathered cooked ganache over my brownies and sprinkled them with sea salt. What’s better than a smoothie bowl on a hot summer day?!😋😍🍒🥬🥥🍓 . . Super trendy, but CAREFUL when ordering out or even when making your own. A smoothie bowl made from just fruit & fruit juices might fill you up at the time, but is super likely to cause you to feel hungry again sooner, rather than later.🙆🏻‍♀️ . . What else to add/ replace some of the fruit with?!👇🏻 YOUR BOWL SHOULD AIM TO CONTAIN: 1️⃣Protein. Protein keeps you fuller & more satisfied for a much longer amount of time. My fav way to add protein to my bowls is a simple protein powder...flavored or unflavored could be the perfect addition.🙌🏻 You could also add some plain Greek yogurt or cottage cheese if you’d rather.💃🏻 2️⃣Greens. Because you need your greens. So many benefits from greens. I love adding a huge handful of spinach. Any leafy greens are great, like kale, watercress, cucumber, etc. 3️⃣ Healthy Fats. These help promote healthier skin, cells, benefits hormones, etc. Add some natural nut butter, avocado, coconut oil, MCT oil, etc. 4️⃣Fiber. Fiber slows down digestion & keeps you fuller, longer. So throw in some chia or flax seeds.💃🏻 5️⃣Complex Carbs. Not totally necessary, but consider your fruit as your carbs. I like to keep my fruit serving in my smoothies 1/2 cup or less.
