This photo shows alot as someone who has been battling through many things because of the way I am . Growing up I never liked when people took photos of me in general , I never liked my physical apperances with my body , tallness & the way people would judge me on my looks. I remember when I was younger , for my ceremony ,I had to get some photos done by a photographer & I would never approve because of the way I looked so my cousin had to come with me as It was hard for me to leave my comfort zones. My body has changed tremendously over the past few years with all the hard work and scarifices I had to make in order put myself out of my comfort zones . You can never judge how someone feems based on a smile & (Usually I am not) which is normal when your moods change due to life experiences. I was never happy with who I was and what I had to go through to get here today and it was holding me back from so many things growing up .Lately I have been reflecting on how much I have changed . I have been overweight for part of my life even when while I was active in sports , I always felt like my body would affect me with my medical issues. Take in mind health issues run in my family & now being able to focus on my health has been interesting & been able to lose the weight I wanted. I was able to get out of my comfort zone & get some photos taken sunday by showing my true skin while people were in the background. Being able to take images like this outdoors shows that I finally starting to accpet my body more for what it is regardless of how much weight I have lost & also realize that with my conditions , the weight can easily come back but I will keep pushing myself in order to stay healthy & active no matter where I end up in the future . When people judge one another on the verbal or physical ways that is when you realize who is truly there for you minus those who are just there for show .. You shouldnt let others opinions get within your mind , from my own life experiences , at times it is a struggle to live the life you want but when you stop listening to what others try to say , that is when you start taking care of yourself . #mentalhealthrecovery

🌶 Stuffed Peppers 🌶⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Dinner tonight is a healthy but delicious way to make a lighter version of a spaghetti bolognese.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Serves 2⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Ingredients ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 300g minced beef⁣⁣⁣⁣ 400g passata⁣⁣⁣⁣ 1 white onion⁣⁣⁣⁣ 2 clove garlic ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 2 large peppers ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 30g cheese (I used @eatlean protein cheese)⁣⁣⁣⁣ 2 portions of salad⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Recipe ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 1. Finely chop the onion and garlic and fry in a pan with a couple of sprays of olive oil until the onion is soft. ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣ 2. Add the mince and cook (stirring regularly) until all the meat has changed colour from red to brown.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣ 3. Add the passata and cook on a low heat stirring regularly for 15 minutes.⁣⁣ ⁣ 4. Cut the peppers in half and clean out the seeds. ⁣⁣ ⁣ 5. Put a quarter of the mince mixture into each half of pepper. ⁣⁣ ⁣ 6. Grate the cheese over the top of the peppers and place on a baking tray. ⁣⁣ ⁣ 7. Bake in the oven on 200 degrees C for 15 minutes⁣⁣.⁣⁣ ⁣ 8. 🍓LA VENTAJA DE LA COMIDA REAL🍓 - 🍕Si bien soy un defensor de la dieta flexible como una de las mejores estrategias para perder grasa y lograr resultados. Ya que se basa en el principio más importante: Balance Energético, (Calorías Gastadas vs. Calorías Consumidas). - 🌭También porque elimina esa mentalidad de que creer que existen comidas “prohibidas” para lograr respaldos, puesto que no hay ninguna comida especifica que te haga ganar o perder peso por si sola. - 🥐Ahora bien, tal cual como lo menciona @faridnaffah en su ultimo video en YouTube, si que hay ciertos alimentos que por más que los pudieras encajar en tus macros, no son la MEJOR opción para cumplir tus requerimientos. Ojo! ¿puedes consumirlos?, SI! pero deberas conocer que te aportan y en que cantidades puedes incorporarlos para tu beneficio. - 🥘Por esto, una verdadera dieta flexible se basa en comida REAL. Como te puedes dar cuenta, mucha más comida, con un mayor contenido de nutrientes, proteínas y fibra (que te ayuda a tener más saciedad) puede llegar a tener las mismas calorías que unos cuantos M&M´s. - 📊Y si! los dos platos afectan el Balance Energético de igual manera, pero no por esto tendrán el mismo efecto en tu alimentación. Cauliflower fried rice meets Biltong 💁‍♀️🥢 An easy 15 minute healthy dinner thanks to this quick veggie packed fried rice situation plus @stryvebiltong 👏👇 1/2 head of cauliflower, riced (pulsed in blender) 1 tbsp sesame oil 3 carrots, sliced 1/3 c frozen peas 3 garlic cloves, minced 1 egg 2 tbsp coconut aminos 1 package #biltong 2 scallions, roughly chopped Pulse your cauliflower to make rice! Set aside. Heat sesame oil over medium-high and sauté carrots & garlic for about 5 minutes. Add cauliflower rice & peas. Toss and lower heat. Make room for a well in the center and crack your egg in. Scramble! Once cooked, toss with fried rice mixture. Add coconut aminos, @stryvebiltong and scallions. Gently mix and serve! - @xxrlilly 📸
