💥🔥Three balance and stabilising core exercises to add to your routine🔥💥 - They all really require you to fully engage your core to create stability(especially the first one or you’ll fall 🤣🤦🏾‍♀️) - Some pointers that help me: 1️⃣ If you struggle to balance (I do sometimes) focus on ☝🏾 point in the room and keep fixated on that 2️⃣ Really “tuck in your belly” 🤣 (I don’t know what other way to say this.... sorry 😆. When I say “tuck in” I don’t mean “suck in” because that’s two different things. Someone should be able to punch you and you can’t feel anything. That’s how tight you should aim for your core to be when performing these 😉 3️⃣BREATH. Weirdly enough. Happy Tuesday! 🙌🏻 Here are some variations of the ‘dead bug’ - a core activation/strengthening exercise I most often prescribe to clients. . . A few things to remember when trying it out: . . ☑️Your back should have good contact with the mat/floor - do not lift or arch the back! ☑️Tighten your core and draw the ribs downward (prevent them from flaring outward) ☑️Make sure the angle of the hips are wider than 90 degrees (if the knees are too close to your chest, you’re likely not challenging yourself enough) ☑️Don’t forget to breathe! . .
