While buying premade snacks can be much more convenient, they are usually higher in calories and lower in other nutrients like fiber. 😬 • I love this idea from @wholesomelee to make your own veggie chips to save on calories and enjoy more. Eating more volume of low calorie options is a great way to help you lose weight and not feel deprived. 🤗 •⁠ I wish someone had told me this sooner! But here's a few things you CAN expect from having a properly structured resistance training programme and a healthy approach to nutrition. . 1) You'll burn a tonne of a calories and over time you can actually increase your metabolism! When i started training I was eating a mere 1200 calories to loose body fat. Now I can eat more than 2500 a day and stay in shape! 2) You can create curves where you want them! You will shape your body, not bulk it up 🙄. You have the ability to construct your dream body, want big Peachy glutes? Sleek toned arms? The beauty of weigh training at its finest #bodyunderconstruction. 3) You'll feel Strong AF and I don't just mean in the gym. But trust me, there's something about being able to Deadlift what your hubby weighs that makes you feel Bad Ass 😎 . Bottom line ladies, we don't possess the hormonal profile to develop massive guns and turn into bodybuilders. If you've seen a bodybuilder and you're scared you're gonna wake up one day and be his or her twin, trust me it won't happen. These are elite athletes that dedicate most of the life to extreme diet and training programmes. . My training program consists of 4 to 5 heavy weight training sessions a week (for the past four years). ZERO cardio I wear size 8 to 10 and have been the same size all along 😉 And for anyone who still cares about the scales, in 10. 5 stone!. . Build satiety. . If your days transition from “I’m eating so healthy” to a complete dumpster fire after 5 pm you need to build your satiety earlier in the day. . You can’t pick at toast crusts, or kid left-behinds or “save yourself” for dinner. It doesn’t work, and leaves you back at the fridge at 8:30 after a totally reasonable dinner. . Build your day with intention when it comes to nutrition. Less dumpster fires happen that way. . . . . Peppermint Bark Mug Cake OH MY! ⁣ 🔴⁣ ⚪️⁣ ⁣ Friends... this protein packed dessert has blown my mind 🤯 I started playing around with a mug cake recipe that fit in my afternoon where for me my sweet 🦷 starts aching. ⁣ ⁣ Here’s my recipe but feel free to make any ingredients yours. Now I will tell you that the Level-1 Peppermint Bark protein makes this flavor palate 🤩 It also mixes so well!! Now for the recipe! ⁣ ⁣ Ingredients ⁣ 1️⃣ 10 grams Namaste Gluten Free perfect flour blend (the best GF flour I have ever tried)⁣ 2️⃣ 10 grams mulled flax meal ⁣ 3️⃣ 1 teaspoon baking powder ⁣ 4️⃣ sprinkle of pink Himalayan sea salt ⁣ 5️⃣ 15 grams of Level-1 Peppermint Bark Protein⁣ 6️⃣ 2 Oz of unsweetened vanilla almond milk ⁣ 7️⃣ baking blend stevia to taste ⁣ 8️⃣ olive oil spray for your mug add a light layer ⁣ 9️⃣ 2 Hershey Kisses ⁣ ⁣ Now make it⁣ 1️⃣ combine dry ingredients in a small bowl⁣ 2️⃣ mix dry ingredients well ⁣ 3️⃣ add almond milk ⁣ 4️⃣ mix well with a fork 45-60 seconds get a smooth consistency ⁣ 5️⃣ slowly pour into oiled mug and get every drop ⁣ 6️⃣ lick the spatula... because I said so⁣ 7️⃣ drop in Hershey kisses ⁣ 8️⃣ microwave 30-90 seconds each microwave varies but keep your eye on you will see it “puff up” ⁣ 9️⃣ ENJOY!!! ⁣ ⁣ 203 Calories⁣ 13 grams protein⁣ 18 grams carbs ⁣

Sautéed mushrooms, rocket and poached eggs 🍳⁣ ⁣ INGREDIENTS 👇⁣ • 3 eggs⁣ • 25g rocket⁣ • 115g button mushrooms⁣ • 1/2 cup asparagus⁣ • 50ml balsamic vinegar⁣ • 1 tsp olive oil⁣ • 1/2 tsp minced garlic⁣ • 1 tbls chopped parsley⁣ • Salt and pepper⁣ • Toast of your choice (optional)⁣ ⁣ METHOD ✅⁣ 1️⃣Bring a medium pot of water to the simmer.⁣ 2️⃣While your pot of water is coming to the boil, slice your mushrooms into quarters and dice your asparagus. ⁣ 3️⃣Now heat a medium sized pan, once hot add your olive oil and minced garlic. Next add your mushrooms and asparagus, sauté until golden and set aside.⁣ 4️⃣ For the poached egg; once your medium sized pot comes to the simmer, add 50ml while vinegar. Your water should be just bubbling, but not boiling as this will break apart you egg. Gently stir the water, then crack your egg in the centre, the movement of the water should cause the egg white to wrap around the yolk and leave you with a nice shape. Simmer the egg for 5-6 minutes then carefully remove from the water with a slotted spoon.⁣ 5️⃣Serve your eggs, asparagus and mushrooms on a bed of rocket garnishing with your chopped parsley and avocado, seasoning with salt and pepper.
