Perfekt tur for alle aldrar. Hyggelege folk!

The forbidden kingdom:-Mustang. Mustang lies in the rain shadow region of the great himalayas (Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range) thus receiving very less rainfall. With very little vegetation, mustang is also known as a mountain desert. Upper mustang was an isolated place and restricted to tourists until recently when nepal government opened all parts of nepal for tourism. The isolation has preserved the culture lifestyle and heritage of the place in its original state. The people live near Kali Gandaki River and due to the arid and cold conditions move towards the lower altitude of Nepal during winter. The buddhists monasteries, stupas and hindu temples provide a spiritual feel whereas the desert like feel with caves in the rock formations allows for a completely natural experience. . . . Mustang, for now, holds a special place in my mind. It was one of the most treacherous places to reach and few times I did doubt myself is it worth it. We took frequent breaks just to admire those magnificent peaks. (With single lane, unpaved dirt passes carved out of the side of a steep cliff, no guardrail if you slip up and full of close calls, you have to take repeated breaks to calm your nerves😂🤣). But with amazing friends around and wonderful friend cum guide @kishwor_mountain_man and spell binding views of Annapurna massif and Dhaulagiri Peaks and wandering along the River Kali Gandaki(one of the deepest canyons) bisecting the himalayas definitely washed away all the trepidation. Trust me it was completely worth it- The risk. With so many places to explore, definitely visiting Annapurn region once is not enough. . . #muktinath #visitnepal #sunrise #sunset #mountains #hills #clouds #dhaulagiri #himalayas #himalayasnepal #muktinath #nepal #annapurna #sunrise #clouds #hills #mountains #nature #naturephotography #nikon #earthgallery #himalayas #n #a #earthpix #earthporn #photography #buddha #mustang #muktinath #buddhism #hinduism #travel #travelblogger

..m i ll ä s & o r i ll ä s.. ..s a r ä w a k.. .
