@Regran_ed from @fg_talks - Monday, 5th November 2018: PRAYER IS THE CENTRAL AVENUE WHICH GOD USES TO TRANSFORM US AND IF WE’RE NOT WILLING TO CHANGE WE WILL SOON ABANDON IT! The passage, ‘Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul’ (Psalm 25:1), reminds those of us who, in our desperate search for worldly success hardly have time for prayer, of how quickly our lives can change when a loved one is suddenly diagnosed with a life threatening ailment like stage four cancer that, if like David, we know where to go, who to trust and how to pray, all will be well. In other words, prayer is the central avenue which God uses to transform us and if we’re not willing to change we will soon abandon it. So let the knowledge that: 1) God is known by many names in Scripture, one of which is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals; 2) He heals our diseases, every one of them; and 3) With Him, no sickness is incurable; teach you, if you haven’t yet prayed today, to immediately get into His presence, where you’re sure to find the help you so desperately need!FG. www.fgtalks.com ***All rights belong to the owners of the photographs that we use! #dailydevotion #dailyword #devotion #devotional #inspire #inspiration #inspirationalwords #inspirational #inspirations #inspired #beawesome #motivated #motivate #motivation #motivational #motivationalwords #word #words #wordoflife #wordoffaith #wordsofinspiration #wordsofwisdom #wordstoliveby #wordoftheday #wordstagram #instadaily #instaword #instapray #femigee #fgtalks

THE GREATEST INDICTMENT AGAINST NOT KNOW

Thursday, 8th November 2018: THE GREATEST INDICTMENT AGAINST NOT KNOWING, IS THE FAILURE TO LEARN! The passage, ‘May the Kind One correct me’ (Psalm 141:5), reminds of us who hate criticism and love nothing better than having praise singers around us that, when we look at it from the right angle, every experience in life is a school and every new acquaintance a potential teacher and we should welcome the opportunity to learn from them. In other words, as Solomon so aptly stated, ‘Timely advice is lovely, like golden apples in a silver basket and to one who listens, valid criticism is like a gold earring’ (Proverbs 25:11-12). So let the knowledge that: 1) The greatest indictment against not knowing is the failure to learn; 2) Life owes us nothing except an opportunity to grow; and 3) We need people in our lives who are willing to help us get to where we need to go; teach you, in all relationships, to observe boundaries, respect others and always listen before you speak!FG. www.fgtalks.com #dailydevotion #dailyword #devotion #devotional #inspire #inspiration #inspirationalwords #inspirational #inspirations #inspired #beawesome #motivated #motivate #motivation #motivational #motivationalwords #word #words #wordoflife #wordoffaith #wordsofinspiration #wordsofwisdom #wordstoliveby #wordoftheday #wordstagram #instadaily #instaword #instapray #femigee #fgtalks

NO ONE NEE

@Regran_ed from @fg_talks - Saturday, 10th November 2018: NO ONE NEEDS A SMILE SO MUCH AS HE WHO HAS NONE LEFT TO GIVE! The passage, ‘When I smiled at them…their faces lit up’ (Job 29:24), reminds those who, because of the challenges of life, tend to go around with a frown on their face that, a smile enriches those who receive it without impoverishing those who give it away, it creates happiness in the home, fosters goodwill in business, is the countersign of friends, has incredible healing power and costs absolutely nothing. In other words, none are so rich that they can get along without it and none so poor that they cannot afford to bless others with it. So let the knowledge that: 1) A smile is nature’s best antidote for trouble; 2) It does no earthly good until it is given away; and 3) No one needs one so much as he who has none left to give; teach you, wherever you find yourself this weekend, to establish the mood and set the pace by walking around with a killer smile on your face!FG.www.fgtalks.com #dailydevotion #dailyword #devotion #devotional #inspire #inspiration #inspirationalwords #inspirational #inspirations #inspired #beawesome #motivated #motivate #motivation #motivational #motivationalwords #word #words #wordoflife #wordoffaith #wordsofinspiration #wordsofwisdom #wordstoliveby #wordoftheday #wordstagram #instadaily #instaword #instapray #femigee #fgtalks

Saturday, 17th November 2018: IN OUR HOUR OF NEED, IF WE CALL ON HIM, THE LORD ALMIGHTY WILL ANSWER OUR PRAYER! The passage, ‘My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips’ (Psalm 89:34), reminds us that, medical experts say every one of us will experience depression in some form during our lifetime, a large portion of the population, which may just include anyone of us, wakes up each day in a cloud of gloom and the only solution is to turn to the one source of strength, hope, and encouragement that never fails, God’s living Word. In other words, trying to solve the problem any other way, only relocates it. So let the knowledge that: 1) God has said, He will neither break His covenant nor alter any Word that has gone out of His lips; 2) His hand is not shortened that it cannot save nor His ear heavy that it cannot hear; and 3) In our hour of need, if we call upon Him, the Lord Almighty will answer our prayer; teach you, if you are feeling down today, to stand on His Word!FG. www.fgtalks.com #dailydevotion #dailyword #devotion #devotional #inspire #inspiration #inspirationalwords #inspirational #inspirations #inspired #beawesome #motivated #motivate #motivation #motivational #motivationalwords #word #words #wordoflife #wordoffaith #wordsofinspiration #wordsofwisdom #wordstoliveby #wordoftheday #wordstagram #instadaily #instaword #instapray #femigee #fgtalks

RECOGNISING O

@Regran_ed from @fg_talks - Sunday, 4th November 2018: RECOGNISING OUR PATTERN SIN LETS US KNOW THOSE AREAS IN OUR LIVES THAT WE NEED TO WORK ON! The passage, ‘We will in all things grow up’ (Ephesians 4:15), reminds us that indeed, every one of us wrestles with sin and because each category of sin has its own hidden temptations makes us less envious of others when we’re not doing so well ourselves and less likely to judge them when we are, our goal should be to take off our religious masks, strengthen one another in our areas of struggle, and do it in a gracious, and non-judgmental way. So let the knowledge that: 1) Recognising our pattern sin lets us know those areas in our lives that we need to work on; 2) Knowing other people’s patterns helps us to empathise and live in harmony with them; and 3) As we learn about these patterns we become more patient with those whose sins are different from ours; teach you, at worship today, to pray for the spirit of discernment and strength to always express yourself without fear or favour!FG. www.fgtalks.com ***All rights belong to the owners of the photographs that we use! #dailydevotion #dailyword #devotion #devotional #inspire #inspiration #inspirationalwords #inspirational #inspirations #inspired #beawesome #motivated #motivate #motivation #motivational #motivationalwords #word #words #wordoflife #wordoffaith #wordsofinspiration #wordsofwisdom #wordstoliveby #wordoftheday #wordstagram #instadaily #instaword #instapray #femigee #fgtalks

AWARENESS A

@Regran_ed from @fg_talks - Thursday, 25th October 2018: AWARENESS AND SENSITIVITY TO OUR OWN PROCLIVITIES ARE THE FIRST STEPS TOWARDS BUILDING A PROPER DEFENCE! The passage, ‘The sin that so easily trips us up’ (Hebrews 12:1), reminds us that, as John Ortberg so aptly pointed out in his book, ‘The Man I want To Be’, a ‘pattern sin’, isn’t something that nobody else commits, but because we’re vulnerable in that particular area and it is usually related to the pattern of our gifts, it is one that we’re habitually drawn to. In other words, like that which Greek mythology speaks of as the nemesis or an enemy who seems unbeatable, there’s a relationship between the best and the worst versions of ourselves. So let the knowledge that: 1) Our nemesis is like us in almost every way, except that he’s the ruined version of ourselves; 2) We have a staggering capacity for self-deception and self-justification; and 3) Awareness and sensitivity to our own proclivities are the first steps towards building a proper defence; teach you, in order to begin to see clearly, to ask for ‘ointment’ [the Holy Spirit] for your eyes!FG. www.fgtalks.com ***All rights belong to the owners of the photographs that we use! #dailydevotion #dailyword #devotion #devotional #inspire #inspiration #inspirationalwords #inspirational #inspirations #inspired #beawesome #motivated #motivate #motivation #motivational #motivationalwords #word #words #wordoflife #wordoffaith #wordsofinspiration #wordsofwisdom #wordstoliveby #wordoftheday #wordstagram #instadaily #instaword #instapray #femigee #fgtalks

Sunday, 11th November 2018: FAITH GROWS WHEN WE TAKE RISKS THAT ARE SPECIFICALLY DIRECTED BY GOD! The passages, “…Risk your life and get more than you ever dreamed…” (Luke 19:26), reminds us that, security which neither fully exists in nature nor do the children of men ever permanently experience it is a figment of our imagination, but because faith grows when we take risks that are specifically directed by God, life in its purest form, is either a daring adventure or nothing. In other words, all it takes to move us beyond the borders of our independent state and into “the promised land” is a Godly nudge. So let the knowledge that: 1) Faith grows when we take risks that are specifically directed by God; 2) Acting in faith with no earthly guarantee of what is on the other side means attempting something we couldn’t possibly do unless God gave us the ability; and 3) The more we wait for perfect conditions, the less we get done; teach you, at worship today, to as for Grace to step out of your comfort zone!FG. www.fgtalks.com #dailydevotion #dailyword #devotion #devotional #inspire #inspiration #inspirationalwords #inspirational #inspirations #inspired #beawesome #motivated #motivate #motivation #motivational #motivationalwords #word #words #wordoflife #wordoffaith #wordsofinspiration #wordsofwisdom #wordstoliveby #wordoftheday #wordstagram #instadaily #instaword #instapray #femigee #fgtalks

Wednesday, 7th November 2018: THAT WHICH DOESN’T DESTROY US, IN THE END, MAKES US STRONGER! The passage, ‘David strengthened himself in the LORD’ (1 Samuel 30:6), reminds us that, there will be times after winning a string of victories when circumstances around us will end up leaving us heartbroken and even threatening our faith, but because God alone controls our destiny, the thing to do, rather give up, if we turn everything over to Him and in His time, all will be well. In other words, we should simply turn everything over to the One whose guidance and encouragement will lead us to our next victory. So let the knowledge that: 1) God can turn our pain into gain and our scars into stars; 2) He can turn our weaknesses into discovery points for pp6fstrengths we never knew we had; and 3) That which doesn’t destroy us, in the end, makes us stronger; teach you, with a clear understanding that indeed, this too shall pass, to let your current situation drive you closer to God!FG. www.fgtalks.com #dailydevotion #dailyword #devotion #devotional #inspire #inspiration #inspirationalwords #inspirational #inspirations #inspired #beawesome #motivated #motivate #motivation #motivational #motivationalwords #word #words #wordoflife #wordoffaith #wordsofinspiration #wordsofwisdom #wordstoliveby #wordoftheday #wordstagram #instadaily #instaword #instapray #femigee #fgtalks

Monday, 12th November 2018: OUR CONCERN, RATHER THAN WHETHER WE CAN GET AWAY WITH A CRIME, SHOULD BE OUR ABILITY TO LIVE WITH OURSELVES AFTER THE ACT! The passage, ‘He left his [coat] in her hand, and fled’ (Genesis 39:12), reminds us that, unlike David who succumbed to temptation, had an affair with Bathsheba and lived to regret it, if we keep recalling how Good loved, preserved and blessed us in the past, it will help put the brakes on any carnal inclinations and impulses that we may have, no matter the source. In other words, our first concern, rather than whether we can get away with a crime, should be our ability to live with ourselves after the act. So let the knowledge that: 1) When we sin, it is against God who sees and knows all; 2) David’s story proves that we will have to live with the consequences of our deeds; and 3) They can be devastating, not only to us, but to those who look to us for guidance; teach you to discipline your body and bring it into subjection, lest, when you have preached to others, you yourself should become disqualified!FG. www.fgtalks.com #dailydevotion #dailyword #devotion #devotional #inspire #inspiration #inspirationalwords #inspirational #inspirations #inspired #beawesome #motivated #motivate #motivation #motivational #motivationalwords #word #words #wordoflife #wordoffaith #wordsofinspiration #wordsofwisdom #wordstoliveby #wordoftheday #wordstagram #instadaily #instaword #instapray #femigee #fgtalks

@Regran_ed from @fg_talks - OUR DESTINIES ARE  MADE UP OF SEEMINGLY INSIGNIFICANT MOMENTS, EXPERIENCES AND ENCOUNTERS! The passage, ‘Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might’ (Ecclesiastes 9:10), reminds us that, just as the saying, ‘Nothing is lost in God’s economy’, what we are doing right now might seem insignificant and unrewarding to us, but it could turn out to be God’s way of preparing us for something which He wants to do through us in the future. In other words, when we only do what we feel like doing or enjoy doing, we can end up overlooking relationships and undervaluing experiences that could be essential to our future. So let the knowledge that: 1) God works in us both to do His will and for His pleasure; 2)) Our today is connected to our tomorrow; and 3)Our destinies are made up of seemingly insignificant moments, experiences and encounters; teach you, at worship today, to ask for Grace to maximise each opportunity and relationship that comes your way!FG. www.fgtalks.com #dailydevotion #dailyword #devotion #devotional #inspire #inspiration #inspirationalwords #inspirational #inspirations #inspired #beawesome #motivated #motivate #motivation #motivational #motivationalwords #word #words #wordoflife #wordoffaith #wordsofinspiration #wordsofwisdom #wordstoliveby #wordoftheday #wordstagram #instadaily #instaword #instapray #femigee #fgtalks

So let the knowledge that: 1) If God’s mind was small enough for us to understand, He wouldn’t be God; 2) He is constantly working for our good and His Glory; and 3) It is at those times when we can’t stand being a certain situation that His Grace takes over; teach you to see your current situation, not as simply enduring, but a way of advancing you!FG. www.fgtalks.com #dailydevotion #dailyword #devotion #devotional #inspire #inspiration #inspirationalwords #inspirational #inspirations #inspired #beawesome #motivated #motivate #motivation #motivational #motivationalwords #word #words #wordoflife #wordoffaith #wordsofinspiration #wordsofwisdom #wordstoliveby #wordoftheday #wordstagram #instadaily #instaword #instapray #femigee #fgtalks

@Regran_ed from @fg_talks - Tuesday, 13th November 2018: WEATHER-BEATEN WOOD MAKES THE SWEETEST MUSIC! The passage, ‘He clothed him in garments of fine linen’ (Genesis 41:42), reminds us that, on the way to fulfilling his destiny, Joseph had to go through a lot of trials which included being sold as a slave, having his feet hurt with fetters and lying in irons, but because he honoured God in the most difficult of circumstances, the king sent and released him, and made him lord of his house and ruler of all his possessions. In other words, the tests and temptations we are facing today are over our future and they are preparing us for our destiny. So let the knowledge that: 1) As Stradivarius responded when asked why he used only wood taken from trees that had weathered the biggest storms to make his violins, ‘Weather-beaten wood makes the sweetest music’; and 2) Until the time when our word comes to pass, the Word of the Lord will keep testing us; teach you, no matter the challenges in your way, to keep on walking!FG. www.fgtalks.com #dailydevotion #dailyword #devotion #devotional #inspire #inspiration #inspirationalwords #inspirational #inspirations #inspired #beawesome #motivated #motivate #motivation #motivational #motivationalwords #word #words #wordoflife #wordoffaith #wordsofinspiration #wordsofwisdom #wordstoliveby #wordoftheday #wordstagram #instadaily #instaword #instapray #femigee #fgtalks

OUR CONCERN,

@Regran_ed from @fg_talks - Monday, 12th November 2018: OUR CONCERN, RATHER THAN WHETHER WE CAN GET AWAY WITH A CRIME, SHOULD BE OUR ABILITY TO LIVE WITH OURSELVES AFTER THE ACT!

FAITH GROWS

@Regran_ed from @fg_talks - Sunday, 11th November 2018: FAITH GROWS WHEN WE TAKE RISKS THAT ARE SPECIFICALLY DIRECTED BY GOD!

HAPPINESS BELONGS TO THOSE WHO FIND AND FU

Friday, 9th November 2018: HAPPINESS BELONGS TO THOSE WHO FIND AND FULFIL THEIR CALLING! The passage, ‘It is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose’ (Philippians 2:13), reminds those looking for someone to make them happy that, unlike amateur potters who limit the potential of clay, God knows our full potential because He put it there and if we make knowing and walking in step with Him our highest priority all will be well. In other words, happiness belongs to those who find and fulfil their calling. So let the knowledge that: 1) God has given each of us a calling and fulfilling our lives’ assignment begins with the proper identification of our potentials; 2) He will keep moulding and shaping us until we release that which is already within us; and 3) By recognising and fulfilling our assignment we free ourselves from a sense of failure; teach you, regardless of where you find yourself, to keep the faith and Thank God It’s Friday!FG. www.fgtalk.com #dailydevotion #dailyword #devotion #devotional #inspire #inspiration #inspirationalwords #inspirational #inspirations #inspired #beawesome #motivated #motivate #motivation #motivational #motivationalwords #word #words #wordoflife #wordoffaith #wordsofinspiration #wordsofwisdom #wordstoliveby #wordoftheday #wordstagram #instadaily #instaword #instapray #femigee #fgtalks

THE GREATES

@Regran_ed from @fg_talks - Thursday, 8th November 2018: THE GREATEST INDICTMENT AGAINST NOT KNOWING, IS THE FAILURE TO LEARN!

@Regran_ed from @fg_talks - Wednesday, 7th November 2018: THAT WHICH DOESN’T DESTROY US, IN THE END, MAKES US STRONGER! @Regran_ed from @fg_talks - Tuesday, 6th November 2018: KNOWLEDGE IS POWER, IT PUTS US IN A POSITION TO SUCCEED, BUT IT SOMETIMES CAUSES US TO BE MISUNDERSTOOD! Just as the Bible says, ‘Those who know their God shall be strong, and do exploits’, what separates the a bank president and the caretaker may be equal in every right, but because one has paid a price to learn things that placed him or her in a different position that brings different rewards, what ultimately separates one from the other, is what he or she knows. In other words, knowledge is power, it puts us in a position to succeed but it sometimes cause us to be misunderstood. So let the knowledge that: 1) God can cause us to know things that will change the course of our lives; 2) He can show us things during the night that changes how we feel in the morning; and 3) In His presence we receive insights that give us purpose, hope, dignity, direction and the strength to get up and fight for what He promised us; teach you to get into His presence today and stay there until He reveals His Will to you!FG. www.fgtalks.com #dailydevotion #dailyword #devotion #devotional #inspire #inspiration #inspirationalwords #inspirational #inspirations #inspired #beawesome #motivated #motivate #motivation #motivational #motivationalwords #word #words #wordoflife #wordoffaith #wordsofinspiration #wordsofwisdom #wordstoliveby #wordoftheday #wordstagram #instadaily #instaword #instapray #femigee #fgtalks
