I was almost alone in the gym today here at 3pm swiss time. So much time for each of my exercises and all treadmills free😁😁. I ran 10, 3 km in 70 minutes and I felt so relaxed and free, do you feel the same after running? The accountability that this program has put upon me helped me reach new levels. I’ve done online programs in the past that offered different workouts every day and they did but there was no end. Next a collage of me stomping around with walking dumbbell lunges, sumo leg press and lying keg curls. Final is Van working on tricep push down and barbell curls. Have a wonderful Friday!!!!!😊💪🤸💕 . . Today's leg workout: Walking Lunges: – warmup by doing 2 sets of 40 steps (20 on each side) with body weight only. - - - -- Then grab some moderate weight dumbbells and do 2 sets of 30 steps (15 each side). - Take deep strides to work glutes and hams more. Lying Leg Curls – 3 sets of 10 reps, then a 4th set where you do a drop set – do 10 reps, then drop the weight and go to failure (try for at least 10 again) then drop again and go to failure again (try for at least 10 again). Then do partial reps to failure out of the stretch position (on that last set only). Sumo Leg-Press – 4 sets of 10 reps – feet high and wide. Go down slowly, pause, then fire back up. There are so many health benefits to using a sauna. I'm trying to make it a habit since my gym has one available to it's members. The hardest part of the sauna was sitting in there, alone, not moving anywhere and not talking to anyone. Since I was already in the gym for my running session I decided to do a round of abs too; 50 reps holding 15lb Kettle bells. Got to keep that core strong. .. Having a strong core has many benefits but as far as running goes a strong core is important to keep a good running form. I'm all about form in every thing I do. Ok so sorry but I had to.. #tbt. Today is the first day of the #crossfitopen2019. You can watch the first workout announcement at 7:00 pm at games.crossfit.com. . This will be our 5th year competing in the open. . For those that don’t know, the Crossfit Open is the largest participatory worldwide test of fitness. . Over the next 5 weeks, hundreds of thousands will perform a scored workout to see how they stack up against other like individuals. . I don’t compete because I have any illusions of scoring well enough to advance. I do however compete in the open to see how much better I have become since last year. . That’s who we should always be competing against. The previous version of ourselves. . I know I’ve said it before but @crossfit and @crossfitbeverly have saved my life. They have also made me want to see how much better I can get....at everything. So that is why #imintheopen. . If your looking to lose weight, get fit, change up your routine or just have fun working out, find an affiliate and stop in. Most of them, if not all, offer a free intro class. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Ladies!! Want to get stronger at push-ups? @shaynasannicolas shows how to do a push-up drop set. Do clean reps from the toes and when you can no longer do them, drop to the knees and finish your set. If you can’t do a single rep from the toes, push up from the knees and descend from the toes. The muscle are significantlystronger during the eccentric or elongation portion of the rep. In time the concentric position will begin to catch up and you’ll be on your way to push-ups from the toes! #pushups #womensfitness #strongwomen #fitafter40

Bareczki sądzę, że w tym roku może na jesień będą już całkiem przyzwoite 😁 z czwórkami dużo więcej będę potrzebowała czasu, ale najważniejsze, że już coś tam się też dzieje 🤗 Dzisiaj był kurczak w zupełnie innym wydaniu, na słodko: z gruszką, erytrolem, cynamonem i do tego parmezan. Ryż z solą i majerankiem jak zwykle, ale później dodałam trochę erytrolu i orzechy włoskie i do tego wszystkiego buraczki pikantne 🌶 Ja uwielbiam łączyć różne smaki i to było mega! For me this is about health, energy and aging in a positive way! I don’t struggle to get booty gains! I have all kinds of booty😂 What I struggle with is my midsection and controlling that whole area! 😬 It’s some genetics, some hormones and it’s super unhealthy! It puts me at a higher risk for diabetes, heart disease, and stroke.. none of which I am down for! 😛 So I’m controlling what I can with daily exercise, a healthy diet( most of the time)and self care!
