However, when I do travel, 10/10 times TSA stops me to examine my baked oats but then lets me keep them. 4 oz of lotion? Dangerous! But baked oats?? Well that girl just knows how to make a tasty travel snack 🤪🤷‍♀️ . Recipe inspo: @cleaneatsbytay. Details:👇 . . Banana white chocolate Oatmeal bake: - 1/2 cup oats - 1/2 cup milk of choice (I used cashew) - 1/2 mashed banana plus more slices for on top - 1/2 tsp vanilla - 1 tsp baking powder - 1 tbsp vanilla yogurt - 1 tsp baking powder - 1 scoop vanilla or protein powder (optional) - White chocolate chips (I used mini) . . Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and grease or spray an oven safe dish. Mix all ingredients in a separate bowl and then pour into prepared dish. Add extra bananas and chocolate on top and bake for 25 min. Let cool and enjoy! While it’s totally normal to treat yourself a bit more during your menstrual cycle (I know I do!), here are some other solutions that aren’t just food based: . Drink plenty of water! - Water helps flush out the body and reduce bloating. . Do gentle exercise - If you’re not feeling something more intense, even yoga or a long walk can do the body good & reduce stress levels. . Meditate - Mediation can help reduce overall stress levels. . Take a candle lit epsom salt bath - Another easy self-care routine that can leave you feeling refreshed. . 👋🏻I don’t love comparing how I was to who I am now—I just felt an inclination to share this because today I was talking to my twin sister @stef_foodie in the car and she was saying how proud she is of me for how far I’ve come. Honestly, I haven’t truly sat down and thought about it. I take rest days now whenever I want to. I lift more than I ever thought was “okay”. I eat every time I’m hungry and you’re dang right I eat whatever it is that I’m craving, obviously within reason. I’m healthy, I’m happy and I’m LIVING. I used to skip every outing, skip one meal a day, exercise like a fiend 7 days a week, fast for 30 hours on & off, and weigh myself 5 times a day. Now, I haven’t weighed myself in OVER A YEAR. I love being strong, feeling capable and just freaking satisfied. Today I’m feeling thankful for this special body I am lucky to call my own, and I just want to treat it well. I hope everyone out there, if even for today, can love yourself a little extra—just as you are. Happy Sunday!!! I watched a very enlightening documentary last night about minimalism. (Thanks for a great recommendation @christieathome !!!) I have been trying to limit my purchases recently and recycle or donate the things I dont use anymore. But minimalism is so much more than that. Its recognizing what really serves a purpose in your life. It's making room for the things that are truly important. For me that's time spend with loved ones, travelling, and spending time outside. Homemade bouillon🌿 This soup gives you valuable energy. I cooked the soup over 4 hours! That‘s very long but you will love the difference in the taste. The bouillon is a great strenght tonor. 🌿 I used also beef bones. It gives me more energy than a veggie one. If you are vegan or veggie you can let the bones out. The soup is still fantastic. 🌿 My personal recipe for my dear ones: • heat the oil in the pan • brown the onions with the cover (the cover gives the nice color to the bouillon) • add the beef bones • add water • add your favorite vegetables. I used carrots, celery, kale. • add different spices (lourel leaves, pepper, salt, turmeric, oregano, thyme, basil) You can also see my instructions in pictures. 🌿 I made a big pan today. So I can eat it for several days. You can also freeze the soup in portions. 🌿 What are the advantages of this bouillon? • helps with flu and cold • strengthens the immune system • the skin becomes smoother • alleviates inflammations • supports the intestine with minerals and amino acids • brightens the mood • let us sleep well at night 🌿 You see, there are a lot of positive aspects for a bouillon😊Try it out! My favorite meals are the ones with a little bit of everything. It was leg day this morning so definitely needed a full plate of fuel afterwards 😅. I personally like to workout on an empty stomach and then eat after. No rhyme or reason, just what makes me feel best. Don’t worry about what time of day you eat certain meals. Eat when you’re hungry, eat when feel like it. There’s no magical time to stop eating carbs or certain foods.
