WHY SHOULD YOU NOT HAVE AN ‘ALL OR NOTHING’ APPROACH TO YOUR NUTRITION‼️. . Food should not be labels as ‘good’ or ‘bad’ ❌Simply put, some foods are higher in nutrients than others and everything can be enjoyed in moderation! 🍕🍩Rather than labelling your food you should look at your overall diet. Instead of presuming that its the fats and the carbs that are making you put on weight or that you must eliminate sugar completely out of your diet evaluate how you are eating on everyday basis 👉🏻are you having fruit/veg with every meal 🍏🥦 are you having adequate protein with every meal 🥚are you staying hydrated?💧. . There is a reason why strict diets don’t work! Say if your plan instructs you to eat an apple for your snack but instead you have a banana and you view your plan as one you must follow you may think you screwed it already so you might as well just eat a large pizza. . Cutting out certain foods or having an extremely strict diet may result in having trouble digesting food without discomfort due to the loss of enzymes and gut bacteria. . What I find works best for me & enables me to stick to my diet and achieve the body composition I want is a 80/20 approach or so called ‘flexible dieting’. This is where you eat whole, nutritional foods 80% of the time and 20% of the diet are ‘treats’. . In fact, those with flexible diets are more likely to maintain weight loss as oppose to those with strict diets.

What am I supposed to do with my hands?😂 I find it challenging to engage my core evenly as my upper half is more developed. This is a new exercise I was shown and absolutely love, I highly recommend it. Form tip for any core movement, really try to pull from your stomach. If you notice my arms hardly move, this removes momentum and forces the abs to work. Next time you're doing any kind of leg raises, sit ups or otherwise, pay attention to how fast you move. When i was younger even from the age of 7 i always dreamed of being big, strong and muscular. I would watch endless Jean Claude Van damme and Arnold Schwarzenegger films then hit my 2kg dumbbells i aquired from my dad followed by 2-3 pushups. This made me feel like my idols. Ive always had a passion for building my body and will never forget where i started from. We all have to start somewhere. Golf, football or in fact any game with a ball i found temporary and boring. This hobby however you carry it around with you 24/7 because its also a lifestyle. Ive learnt so much about my own body over the past 11 years and how to connect my mind to it as well as becoming disciplined. Haters still appear from time to time but i understand them they just dont understand me. I picked up those 2kg dumbbells at the age of 7 with an inner passion to be strong physically not knowing back then that it would also make me stronger mentally opening up an enjoyable career for me. Some passions are just rooted within us.

I’m often asked, “How can I achieve my dream body? They tell me things like, “I want a six pack, sculpted arms, lean but strong legs, a tight butt.....They ask me if they should do more cardio, lift heavier weights, do more reps, cut out carbs or fat, follow keto, paleo....you get the jist, right? My answer to all of these questions is simply ONE word and that special little word is, CONSISTENCY. You can try all the different training principles and fad diets you like but if you’re not consistent in your workouts, eating, recovery and positive mindset then you’ll never achieve the end goal, whatever that looks like, for you. I have been training for my entire adult life, many years waking up at 4:30 am to get my workout in before my kids would wake; I’ve suffered through some nasty injuries, personal loss and a whole host of other life obstacles but I never abandoned my commitment to my health and fitness. In fact, it was and still is, my best kind of therapy. It allows me the best quality of life and provides me with the strength and confidence to tackle just about anything that life throws my way. Remember, it’s what you do EVERY SINGLE DAY that matters. So try these out-as long as you don’t mind getting stared at but also who cares 💁🏻‍♀️ 👇WERKOUT👇 ⚡️Hip thrusts with Bosu ball (perform double leg then single leg) ❗️Placing feet on top of Bosu ball helps to get more range of motion with the movement to activate the under bum❗️ ⚡️Donkey kicks ❗️Place forearms on Bosu ball to help keep the spine in a neutral position when you kick up and back❗️ ⚡️Donkey kick-alternative version ❗️Place your upper leg-above the knee and push up you will feel the burn in your under toosh ⚡️Perform each exercise for 45 seconds and rest 15 seconds!
