Today was the first day back in the gym for me. I've been so focused on cardio mostly these past couple of months. It felt good putting up some weight, I lost some strength, but that is OKAY. Never skip a Monday #fitfam . . Today's workout was a 25 mins yoga practice. I did a lot of yummy stretches and ended up with a 15 mins free flow. . With my flow, I was trying to go deeper and use the breath to strengthen and move with ease. I included a few poses to strengthen my core, open my hips, get my heart rate going, tone muscles of my body and find fluidity with my breath. These flows certainly help me break a sweat. 🙏🏽 . . . . Mine is def @Starbucks Chia Latte. ☕There’s just something about it… It tastes so invigorating to me - if a drink can even taste like that, lol…the zing of the spices, the earthy tones and creamy milk get me every time! Aside from my waistline, my wallet also benefits when I don’t buy one every day. But I don't want to give up my favorite fall 🍂treat, so I found a way to make it at home as a protein shake. Healthier and budget-friendly! It can be sipped as a breakfast, snack, pre or post-workout, or even a dessert! It is protein packed. ✨Vanilla Chai Latte Protein Shake 1️⃣2 Scoops Vanilla Arbonne Protein Powder (link in bio but any vanilla protein will probably be fine) 2️⃣4 oz chai tea 3️⃣6 oz unsweetened almond milk (any flavor will do, I like unsweetened coconut) or fat free Fairlife milk, (sometimes I do half of each) 4️⃣1/2 tsp nutmeg 5️⃣1/2 tsp cardamom 6️⃣1 cup ice *If you have on hand, feel free to throw in one scoop Arbonne's Daily Protein boost or collagen protein for some extra protein!
