Since you’re spending time in the gym make sure it’s quality time not a waste of time 💪. . . Past failure - when I can’t do full reps anymore I keep going with partial reps. When I can’t do partials anymore I jump into isometric contraction until there’s no more space for a drop of blood in the worked muscle (flex till it cramps 😉). . . Is it painful? Absolutely 😅 But remember - blood, sweat, tears make the pain taste sweeter🔥 #bodytransformation

This is typically where someone would find their "sticking point" which would prevent then from completing reps. ⁣ ⁣ A nice controlled smooth tempo is also a great way to keep the muscles under tension for longer within your set which will further help to improve strength and build muscle. ⁣ ⁣ Bonus tip: sitting up away from back rest will make a shoulder press more difficult but also be more of an indicator of functional strength then if pressing while leaning into backrest during press. It is amazing how a body responds to how you fuel it! Let me tell you that I joined this journey because I was overweight and my health issues were on the rise. I have been consistent in my workouts, following programs and more for over 4.25 years! I have seriously only taken off 8 days in that time that were not scheduled rest days due to sickness and recently to fill my cup. Friends I admit there were days I didnt give my all, but there were days I also pushed really hard. And I still saw no results. I am proof that exercise alone despite exercising up to 3 times per day is not going to do it for you if your nutrition is crap. You see, it was during these times that I ate at about a 70/30 rule. No doubt I ate clean but there would be days I replaced a processed protein bar in for my chicken fajita meal that I was too lazy to make, or a Lenny and Larry protein cookie and eat the whole thing for over 400 calories and 64 carbs= one huge juicy burger with a thick bun and slice of pizza combined. And then, I would indulge in picking at desserts, extra helpings, and one too many adult beverages. Add on stress and well....SHIT SHOW! Oh and what many didn't know is that my health issues were coming back with a vengeance. One of the main reasons you see my selfie day in and day out. I am literally saving my life. So my friend if you are exercising your arse off and getting frustrated, I hope this post will inspire you. If you need proof that exercising to the moon and back to get 500 calories off or 3 miles on your fitbit....proof is in the pudding. I would burn up to 1000 calories per day via exercise alone some days and walk sometimes 18-20,000 steps but my nutrition sucked! 2 dress sizes, and 14.75 inches lost all by tightening up my nutrition to a 90/10 because yes I believe in living life too, has changed my life again! They aren't kidding when they say you are what you eat. Don't be fast, easy, cheap, or fake. How you fuel your body will be the biggest form of self respect you can give yourself. ✌🍉🍓🥝🥑🥕🥦🥬🍗🥗🥚 #transformation #mystory

I don’t know about you, but I LOVE MY BAKED GOODS.🎂🧁🍪🍩 . They’re my Achilles heel, for real!🙊 . So how do I manage to eat what I want, when I want, and still maintain my fitness goals? . The answer: Moderation, macros, understanding my body, and learning which days it’s best to have a “cheat day.” . Now don’t get me wrong, I eat very clean 90% of the time. Because when you want to see “lean muscle” it’s all about what is going into your body. . However, it’s perfectly fine to have that muffin, brownie, cookie every now and then. Just learn your macros!🤗 . This took me a lot of trial and error before I finally figured out what was best for me, and what kind of results I wanted. . If this is something you struggle with personally. 🔝MESSAGE ME. 🔝I can help you with this! AND for those ladies, building bootys, this is something I teach in my program! .
