Okay so I know there’s not that much of a crazy difference between the two but the first picture I found on my Snapchat memories two years ago ➡️March. . First picture I was actually smiling because I FELT amazing! Although I wasn’t at my “goal body” I was doing my workouts, watching what I was eating, and actually changing my mindset and mood. . . Two years later is the same smile of me just enjoying my journey. Not depriving myself from the foods I love, having a blast with my workouts, my friends, and just feeling CONFIDENT that a bathing suit I bought online FIT. . Happiness comes in all shapes and sizes and as long as you’re feeling amazing it radiates off of you🙌🏼 you can do the crazy diets, deprive yourself from you foods, always start at day one every month, save a million “healthy” meals on Pinterest, YouTube a bunch of random workouts and do great for a week and then forget about it after. Because guess what- that was all ME. I wasn’t happy, but I’d say I am now ☺️ here to help you to💕

BarbaNegra101: Cinco errores al entrenar pectorales. - - 1) Entrenar con el banco "flat" solamente. El pecho se entrena tanto inclinado como declinado, para trabajar el "upper/lower chest". - - 2) Entrenar solamente super pesado. En estos caso se tiende a forzar más el hombro y a arriesgarse a lastimar. - - 3) Entrenar pecho sin calentar ni estirar. Siempre haga algún set de pushups, simplemente para poner la sangre a circular por los pectorales/hombros/tríceps y así evitar lesiones. - - 4) El ángulo del brazo se baja simplemente a 90°, con los brazos en un ángulo que su cuerpo parezca una flecha y no una "T". Si los deja en forma de "T", le pone mayor carga a los hombros y tarde o temprano se va a lesionar. - - 5) No haga los "30 day pushups challenge" esos que ven en las redes. If you would have told me that I would be in the best shape at age 32, I probably wouldn’t believe you. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Being an athlete and part of a team throughout my life, I had consistency with team practices and workouts. I had a team of women who constantly showed up everyday and gave their best. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ After retiring as a cheerleader for the NFL, I tried different workouts and gyms around the city to keep myself in shape. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝...𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐲, 𝐈 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I would make excuses, push off my workout to the “next” day, and eventually my health and mental well being became affected. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ One of my former @ruspiritalumni teammates, @jessica___oliva, reached out to me (probably over the course of a year) to chat with me about @beachbody. Have been TOTAL MIA over these past few days, even on stories. Its all good - life is just life and busy and needs my full attention, so I’ve taken a quite the step back to apply myself 100% to my life in that moment. Over the past few days I’ve spent them busy (as usual again, with life and stuff) with early morning training sessions, working, working (tiny bit more work but don’t wanna be dramatic,) MOVING (that was a long afternoon hahahah), and overall just feeling blessed I am able to do and have the opportunity to do it all. Even being MIA the hustle never changes cause good things never come to those who wait. Continue to work hard in everything while pursuing what you love guys. Life is much more rewarding once you start seeing things pay off in the greater areas of life. Also, while moving in I was so unsure of my new apartment cause I adored my old one so much but Im ready to snuggle in and make this little corner room my spot for the next year, and make you guys very familiar with my mirror selfies ;) Love you all so much, keep working towards your goals. Hope I can get some more solid content coming up here. #inspiration
