This has been one of my favorite glute circuits lately. Each week I try to up my weight at least at little bit and always focus on my form. - Each exercise is performed with no rest in between. Do a total of 4 rounds. - ▫️Barbbell Banded Hip Thrust — x20 Reps (choose a bench that allows your knees to be at 90 degrees at full hip extension, tuck your pelvis at the top, keep your head and eyes looking forward, push your knees out against the band) ▫️Single Leg Hip Thrust — x15 Reps each leg ▫️Seated Banded Abductors x 20 Reps (can be performed sitting upright or leaning slightly forward) - Give this circuit a try and let me know what you think! - Interested in learning more? 70 days left of this decade....what will you do with it???? . I know I’m taking the last 10 weeks and doing everything I can to crush my goals and set myself up for a strong 2020! I know I’m going to continue gaining weight because we all know it’s what I’m so good at while I’m pregnant! And I could totally throw in the towel and say screw it I’m pregnant, it’s the holidays, I’ll wait until the new year. 👉 💥Get Strong Abs💥 . by @roballenfitness . Comment YOUR favourite Ab Exercise 😎 . Your “Abs” consist of 4 main muscles. They all work together to stabilize your trunk but they all have specific functions, as well.
.
Rectus Abdominis: This is your “6 Pack” - It brings your ribs to your pelvis. Sit ups, knee/leg raises, crunches etc all target this muscle
.
External Obliques: These ones twist your trunk (or stop it from twisting as in the Pallof Press) If your right side is contracting then you twist to your left and vice versa. Sit ups with rotations, wood chops, side planks etc. all work this muscle
.
Internal Obliques: Basically the same as the external obliques but they twist in the same direction as the side that is contacting
.
Last but not least: Transversus Abdominis: This muscle really does a ton of stabilization. If you’re weak here, your Squats and Deadlifts are going to suffer. Planks and hollow body holds/rocks are great for keeping this muscle strong.

TIME TRAVEL HAS BEEN REAL ON THIS TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY— 𝗠𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 Age )) 29 ᴠs 35 Nutrition)) Ate whatever whenever 𝘃𝘀 balanced whole foods Workouts))) Cardio Bunny 𝘃𝘀 Pilates x Lifting x Cardio Legging Size))) L/xL 𝘃𝘀 Small Weight))) 5-8 lb difference __ 𝗠𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 •I stay hydrated with 💦water 💦 (gallon a day) •Eating! I eat mostly intuitively, which requires knowing 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 . I also know I need a certain amount of high quality macros/ micros (complex carbs, proteins, quality fats daily) to lose/maintain/gain. In the beginning, I rigorously tracked macros and calories with my @myfitnesspal . At this point, I just know what I should and shouldn’t eat by 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝘆 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆. I look at food as 𝘧𝘶𝘦𝘭 and the body as a 𝘮𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘦. If you put low quality 𝘧𝘶𝘦𝘭 in your body it’s not going to operate at its highest potential💡. My body composition has changed and it requires different things now. However, if I want some cake—I’m gonna eat the 🍰—in moderation of course. The only supplements I use are plant based protein shakes, preworkout, and BCAAs, plant based multivitamins •Improved gut health (enough said) •Moving my body in a challenging way and with variety •Getting my heart rate up —💦SWEAT💦 •Quality sleep/recovery •Spiritual and mental growth and development was ✨REAL!✨ __ The most important things I want you to learn from this post—the scale is simply a tool. It took me a LONG time to realize that. My doctor would say I’m obese based off the numbers on the scale in both pictures 🙄. So, the scale is low on my list of tools. I go by how I feel/look with progress pics and clothing. __ I think being HEALTHY and HAPPY within should supersede a lot of the distorted content on social media that can influence our lives. Contrary to what’s out there, there is no quick fix. I’ll say it again—📢Tʜᴇʀᴇ ɪs ɴᴏ ǫᴜɪᴄᴋ ғɪx! 📢 It wasn’t easy to get to this point but I consider myself a life long learner and I STILL have work to do. Yes, I’ve had many set backs but I was never afraid to began AGAIN. Soooooo—-be determined, consistent, patient, courageous in all the good that you do! Continue below ⬇️
