While dialing in your nutrition can be a daunting and difficult task at times, there are some basic rules we can live by in order to not overcomplicate things. . 1️⃣ Eat balanced meals! Making sure you have some carbs, proteins and fats with every meal is a great place to start. 2️⃣ Don’t overstuff yourself! Eat slowly, and listen to your body when it tells you it’s full. 3️⃣ You MUST eat less calories than you are burning if you want to lose weight. A calorie deficit is necessary for weight loss, every single time. 4️⃣ Usually, eating food will take up more room in your stomach than drinking a liquid. Eat a 500 calorie salad with chicken, or drink 1 Piña colada. Which one do you think will help keep you full? 5️⃣ Don’t be afraid of or overthink the occasional indulgence. We’re humans, we’re meant to live and ENJOY our lives, and food has a lot to do with that. That being said, be conscious while you’re enjoying those treats. You’re more likely to not overindulge or feel guilty after. . TAG someone who would benefit from this post!

Are you holding a standard plank for 1, 2, or several minutes during your training sessions?? - That is pretty damn impressive! Now it’s definitely time to step it up a notch. - THE 1-ARM HARDSTYLE PLANK 💪🏼 Set your feet in a wide stance. 💪🏼 Spread your fingers and place your hand in the ground underneath your shoulder or slightly to the inside of your shoulder. 💪🏼 Grip the ground with all your fingers and screw your hand into the ground to fully engage your Lats. 💪🏼 Squeeze your thighs, glutes and brace your core. 💪🏼 Hold this position for 5-15 seconds. Rest and repeat on the other side. - The focus is to generate full body tension to increase your strength. - Add these to the beginning or end of your training session at least 3 days per week. - Keep your body/shoulders parallel to the floor without shifting your weight to one side when performing these. - 4 sets of 5-15 seconds should give you solid results!
