How many Calories do you consume❓ . . Calories will firstly depend on your goal, as you can see. Get these correct first as this the most important part (as shown by the IMPORTANT stamp 😂) . . Once you done that, then hitting your protein target is the next aim, before filling the rest of your calories with a mixture of carbs and fats, depending on your personal preference. One isn’t ‘better’ than the other. Overall calories is the most important thing! Re read that last bit 😐 . . The key factor here is that this is just a guide and a starting point. Please, for god sakes, DO NOT moan and say, ‘this looks like a lot of food,’ or ‘this can’t be right or anything like that.’ It’s a general guide and a starting point. Ok guys I need an advice. • So I have been super mean to myself past couple of days and feeling terribly guilty (stupid brain...). • Main reason behind this is that last week I didn’t train super intensively and then weekend have been eating well let’s just say like a 🐷🐷🐷. • And I understand it’s not a big deal, I though I’ll just get back into routine on Monday and all will be good, but instead I got ill 🤒, been working late last night and feeling so sick today that I can barely keep my eyes open, not even talking about moving much. Powered through the day in the office and now just feel guilty that I’m not going to train. Feels like I’m using not feeling well as an excuse which is a valid excuse tbh. • Can’t help it but feel like I’m failing, even though I understand it’s not the case but tell that to my brain... 😔😣🤯

Diät geht quasi nebenher grad - oberste Priorität haben jetzt meine letzten Prüfungen, die ich noch schreiben muss, um das Semester für's Erste positiv abzuschließen. 🙃 * Genau jetzt kommen mir all die Gewohnheiten, die ich mir in den letzten Monaten angeeignet hab, definitiv zu Gute - mein Training immer zur selben Zeit, meine Standard-Meals und mein etablierter Schlafrhythmus.🔄 * Müsste ich jetzt großen Aufwand darin investieren, mir zu überlegen, was ich essen oder wann ich was trainieren soll, dann würd mir das unendlich viel Stress bereiten. So geht alles quasi automatisch - und ich kann meine Energie auch in andere Dinge stecken (wie etwa mein Studium). 😅 * Oder anders gesagt: es besteht NICHT die Gefahr, dass im Alltagsstress die Prep zu kurz kommt, weil ich alles, was ich dafür tun muss, schon wie von selber mach.💪 * 👉 Genau DESHALB ist es so wichtig, gesunde Ernährungs- und Lifestyle-Gewohnheiten zu etablieren, anstatt auf Crash-Diäten und Co. zu setzen. Denn dann fällt's dir auch in stressigeren Zeiten VIEL leichter, die auch noch umzusetzen.🙏 * ❓Hast du da dieselben Erfahrungen gemacht wie ich? It’s been three

Milestone day... so why not a gym bathroom selfie!!! . It’s been three months since I started my serious journey to being fit over 36. I declared that I would start taking care of myself and this was honestly more of a mental journey when I first started and it’s evolved to being so much more that I’ve come to realize. . I honestly would not sleep as I had so much on my mind from personal to work to just general thoughts and now I can say that I’m sleeping so much better. I still have moments but a good friend @andrew.neufeld reminded me that I also need to take some much needed down time at night. I’m not a meditator even though I’ve tried but I do my own thing which is turning off the devices and just allowing myself to disconnect. Being aware... and it works. . I’m so proud of my progress physically but the real stride has been the mental side and the focus to my self care. I realized I needed something of my own and something that fuelled me other than work and the journey to being fit over 36 and a daily focus on self care with adding in me moments has been the real reward. The next step is carving more me time outside of the gym or late at night. Making breakfast plans with friends... going on walks... just being more involved. . Stoked to see what another three months will bring. If I can share anything with you, it’s take time for you. We are not getting any younger but we are living and breathing so take advantage of that and do you!!! It doesn’t have to be fitness but find your thing and take care of yourself. - Staying Lean Tip: Always end your routine or excerise with high tempo cardio. My favorite is interval sprints on the track or treadmill. 3 to 4 sets of 1 minute sprints. 30 to 45 seconds rest between sets. No more than 10 minutes total. Time yourself with a timer in your phone.
