Day 3 of A Little More Obsessed is with the workout Cardio Core. I make no secret of the fact that cardio tends to be my least favorite type of exercise but ultimately I quite enjoyed this one. It was pitched at just about the right level, leaving me breathless and sweaty but never felt so tired like I was going to pass out. This workout has 3 minute intervals of 2 exercises done for 30 seconds. One move is a low impact move followed by a higher intensity exercise alternating throughout the 3 minutes and then followed by a short and I do mean short break! This workout starts out kind of easy but by the end I was drenched in sweat and felt the burn. The format was one low intensity exercise for 30 seconds followed by one high intensity exercise for 30 seconds, repeated three times and followed by a core exercise. I thought there were going to be 4 rounds and was mildly horrified to discover there were actually 6!! The cardio rounds were fairly traditional and straightforward with no equipment involved though most moves, like skaters or mountain climbers were entirely standard, there were a few dance based moves that seemed to be borrowed from Country Heat. The abs rounds were more innovative using one or both bands which I did and the played. I enjoyed most of the core interludes but I thought they were a bit short. This should definitely be regarded as a cardio workout with a bit or abs work added! Day 3 of A Week of Hard Labor is with the workout Core. I would love to someday have visible abs instead of a gut. I always can use more work on my core strength and this workout does the trick. There’s workouts in this one that is not in any other Beachbody workouts. I like that Sagi challenges us to press play along with 15,000 people!! Blowing up the internet! I completed You Got This routine from Cize. I was feeling super tired by the end of this workout but I certainly did not quit. It’s why I took off from MM100 because my body was telling me it was enough for today. I still got a great overall workout from all of these throughout the day!

Competition -2 days. Omg. Yesterday was like crazy. Omg again. 20 minutes with constant movements. Including running.. Me and running is like. Not. Working. Out. And when I think about that. My mind immediately wanders of to the weekend and the comp. As they have revealed only clues about the events. Where we can guess. It’s about running. Haha. Like yesterday one of us ran with a 6 kg / 15 pound med ball. 200 meters. While the other one worked in the box. Power snatches. Over head squats. And knee raises. (We scaled both weight and the last thing, as we need to save some of the power.) Then changed so the other one ran and so on. We made up to 8 rounds and almost all reps at the last round. Haha. I laugh again. Especially at my last run. Check out my story you’ll see. It’s like the ball is running with me instead of the other way around..!! Haha. Waking up now, so tired. But it’s decided. I’ll only go and stretch out today. Maybe bike. To get the heart working a bit. But nothing more. I want to be strong with batteries charged on Saturday morning. Right?! Haha. I laugh again. And shake my head. Oh my. This will be a true adventure. A memory for life. And real fight. Me together with my teamies. It’s us. And only us. Then and there. Ok. Time to start up today. #wwjs? In our FASTer Way membership we are engaged in a 10 Day Detox this month. This isn't for the initial 8 week program, it's for the longer term membership (so don't worry:). I'm pleasantly surprised to say we (Joe and I) are faring well. I love that it's not a detox where we have to juice or eat only certain specialty products. Instead, it is simply sticking to a strict Whole Food plan and eliminating certain foods that tend to cause a reaction in our bodies. Day one without coffee on Monday was NOT pretty. That said, we are already feeling the positive effects of breaking the hold that caffeine has on us... and day 3 without coffee...not so bad! Have you ever tried giving up coffee or your source of caffeine? What were the benefits?
