Should you compete if you have a history of binge eating?🤷🏼‍♀️ . Honesty, probably not! BUT - there are exceptions! . Like for myself ⤵️ I binged for YEARS of my life! And I binged in private while pretending to “know it all” and “be so healthy”. I binged so bad I would get physically sick!🤢😷 And if you’ve dealt with, or deal with binge eating, you know that the mental sickness is 10x’s worse! . So how did I know I would be okay to prep?⤵️ I attempted prep a year before actually prepping and realized I wasn’t ready at that time! I stopped 3 weeks into my prep and took a little over a year to work on myself, my habits, and my mindset! About a year had passed and I thought about prepping again! And I thought long and hard for another 2 months. Once I felt confident in my WHY behind competing - I knew I was going to be okay! It had NOTHING to do with the #goalbody and had so much more to do with the challenge and education that would come along with it! . So, I prepped, didn’t binge ONCE for my whole 6 month prep, and then competed! I stepped off stage and ate a “normal” amount of food that night! . The following weeks, I ate many treats, but never lost control! It was an amazing feeling! I knew that I was over indulging but I was in control! I WANTED to be eating it! It wasn’t an internal struggle between craving and control!🙌🏼 . So, to answer the question if you should compete with a history of food anxiety, eating disorders, or any struggle with food - I would say DO NOT RUSH to make the decision! Give yourself grace and time! The stage will always be there! Your mental and physical health is a balance and practice that needs love and time! Don’t rush it!💗 . 🌾FARM CASSEROLE C'est une petite poêlée d'inspiration fermière👩‍🌾que je vous propose aujourd'hui : légumes variés🥕🥒, graines🌾, pommes de terre🥔, lardons🥓, morceaux de poulet🍗, oeuf🥚... tout y est. Pour la réaliser, commencez par préparer les légumes (haricots, carottes🥕, oignon émincé, céleri...) & les pommes de terre🥔, & faites les revenir dans un wok avec un filet d'huile d'olive. Ajoutez des lardons fumés🥓. Dans une autre poêle🍳, faites revenir un filet de blanc de poulet🍗coupé en morceaux🔪avec un peu d'huile d'olive, de poivre noir d'Indonésie & de piment doux🌶. Quand ils sont dorés, ajoutez les aux légumes🥕. Dans une casserole d'eau bouillante💦, faites cuire un peu de mélange de graines🌾 @carrefourfrance (blé, lentilles vertes, lentilles blondes, quinoa, riz sauvage, orge) pendant 10min🕑, puis égouttez & mélangez au wok. Am I sad because I take my protein powder on holiday with me 🤷🏼‍♂️ . . I don’t think so, I always see posts saying if you’re on holiday then you shouldn’t worry about diet, but I do and if you do too then that’s fine 💪🏻 . . I am not as strict with my diet as I would be at home, and I take whey with me to make sure I get enough protein each day because most places I go I never know when and where I’m going to be eating and what will be on offer and I’m usually eating out meaning it can be sometimes difficult to get adequate protein so this tops me up 👌🏻 . . People...if you're gonna diet/living the fit life for the long haul, do yourself a massive favour and never, NEVER skim on flavour. That is a sure way to turn you off eating and throw in the towel very soon. Pictured here is an easy chicken stirfry (2 servings), a good 51g protein for less than 270 cals per serving. Okay, so 2 weeks straight I have binged... I am not weighing myself & refuse to weigh myself until the new year 🙄 . I feel like a whale, I’m wearing ALL my baggy clothes now as I won’t wear the tight one 😔 . I REALLY want to lose weight... I NEED to get this weight off - but I am struggling more than ever 😭 . Although, I am learning that it’s okay to gain weight... it’s not the end of the world etc 🙌🏼 . BUT... I don’t want that to be an incentive to binge every single day and become an elephant 🙈 . G L Ü C K L I C H sein 🍀 Wo fängt glücklich sein an 😊? Warum haben wir so große Probleme damit, einfach glücklich zu sein? 🤓 . Es ist leider sehr in Mode gekommen, dass wir uns fast ausschließlich über das Äußere definieren 🤯. Der Trend ist nicht, dass wir uns mit der eigenen Person, den eigenen "Fehlern" und Makel beschäftigen, nein vielmehr wird mit dem Finger auf andere gezeigt und dessen Erscheinungsbild und Fehler unter die Lupe genommen 🔍. . Warum 😧? . Wir leben in einer Welt 🌏, in der die inneren Werte oft an Bedeutung verlieren. Instagram, Zeitschriften, TV etc. zeigen oft ein falsches Bild der Realität 📺. Bis zur Unendlichkeit bearbeitete Fotos mit einem vermeintlich "perfekten Körper" stehen an der Tagesordnung 📷. Das Selbstbewusstsein und das eigene Selbstwertgefühl sinkt dadurch stetig. Warum? 🤔 . Wieso zur Hölle leben wollen wir uns stetig mit allen vergleichen 😈? Geht das überhaupt? . Ich kann nicht zwei völlig verschiedene Menschen, Persönlichkeiten, Körper miteinander vergleichen. In den meisten Fällen endet das mit absoluter Unzufriedenheit, mangelndes Selbstbewusstsein, Ängsten und (psychischen) Krankheiten. Genau daher kommt auch der ganze Diät-Wahn 🍏. . Kontrolle, Tracking, der tägliche Gang zur Waage, Verzweiflung weil es nicht funktioniert, dadurch noch mehr Panik und noch mehr Kontrolle. Verzicht auf Lebensmittel, viel zu wenig Essen für den super schnellen Erfolg. Wo bleibt der Spaß am Leben 🤡? . Wir setzen uns somit komplett selbst unter Druck und stehen uns und unserem Glück im Weg. Glücklich sein, fängt im Kopf an 💛. Es ist deine Einstellung im Leben und das bist du nur dann, wenn du aufhörst mit den völlig sinnbefreiten Vergleichen anderer. . Mit der Angst vor dem Denken und Reagieren von deinem Umfeld oder gar fremden Menschen über dich. Wir sollten aufhören über Menschen zu urteilen und Dinge zu interpretieren. Jeder ist anders, jeder denkt und agiert anders und ganz wichtig, jeder hat seine eigene Meinung und Persönlichkeit 😁. Das zu akzeptieren wird uns weit glücklicher machen. ❤️ .
