Kid Friendly Quick Dinner Option: I made a variation of one of Bailey’s favorites. - Homemade(sorta) chicken nuggets (Chicken breast cut up and then shaken in a bag of House Autry chicken bake) 6oz for me - Unicorn mac&cheese (1/2 cup serving) - Birds Eye steamer broccoli and cheese (1/2 cup serving) - Top my nuggs off with G. Hughes Sugar Free Maple Barbecue sauce. (10cals for 2Tbsp) 🙀 - Yeah we really like cheese. All in all it is really easy to make, really affordable and this breading is low calorie and tasty! (Kid approved👍). It is always a balance with healthy nutritious and enjoyable. We have our lows and we have ours highs. I may have reached some physical goals this year but I also felt like I lost a little bit of my confidence ? I can’t pin point where exactly but i definitely did , it affected my work and affected the way I trained , dont get me wrong it fueled me to push harder , push my cardio make it intense , make my workouts more intense and don’t be afraid to switch it up.. but that’s also not a way to be ! - - I’ve worked hard to get to the point I am now , I’m not going to lie I think I could push harder and do better some days , but that’s my own mental toughness ! - - Physique isn’t everything , I care more about how I mentally feel I want to feel confident in who I am as a person and what I STAND for not for anyone else. I’m making a plan , and I will execute it. - - Now it’s hump day and mid week! little prep update: 2.5 weeks out from my first show this season. And I kinda have delts🤷🏼‍♀️. Last prep at this time, I was comparing myself to everyone else on my feed in prep and looking at results from past shows comparing. Convincing myself I wasn’t ready. Being so down on myself. I also had just about zero balance. My life revolved around prep and I wasn’t able to accommodate anyone or anything out of my routine. I had no time for anyone or anything else. I can honestly say, so far this prep I haven’t been comparing at all and have seldom been down on myself. For the most part, I’ve been extremely positive and had that mindset that I know I am giving it my all and not short changing myself, so whatever happens happens. I’m making time for friends, family and myself outside of prep. I’m being spontaneous and choosing to do things outside of my routine and still making it work. I’m so much happier and more positive. I’m actually enjoying prep this time and having fun. Nick was eating his and he was like “You know what the worst thing about this is? I want to eat more of them!”😂 . How to make it⤵️ 1/2 serving kodiak cake buttermilk power cakes (1/4C dry mix) 1/2 tbsp sugar free syrup 1 chicken sausage 1 egg 1 slice cheese (I used dairy free American cheese) . Mix pancake mix w/ water and cook normally but drizzle syrup into pancake before flipping. Cook egg (I cooked mine in this circle thing and broke the yolk) and chicken sausage. Slice sausage in half length and width wise and melt cheese over egg after flipping. Assemble sandwich and eat up!! . Swipe to check out the macros in this baby and a breakdown of how to make it😍

I get this question a lot.⁣⁣⁣⁠⠀ ⁣⁣⁣⁠⠀ If you take a look at the example above, you can see that this person has been prescribed target macros and calories (in black).⁣⁣⁣⁠⠀ ⁣⁣⁣⁠⠀ This person then went away and tracked her macros on MyFitnessPal and she noticed that even though she hit her macro targets, her tracked calories (in red) did not match up to her target calories (in black).⁣⁣⁣⁠⠀ ⁣⁣⁣⁠⠀ How could this be? How could the macros match up but not the calories?⁣⁣⁣⁠⠀ ⁣⁣⁣⁠⠀ The discrepancy is due to rounding errors on nutrition labels.⁣⁣⁣⁠⠀ ⁣⁣⁣⁠⠀ In some countries, like the US, manufacturers can round up or down calories or amounts of nutrients. ⁣⁠⠀ ⁣⁠⠀ For example, a food with more than 50 calories can be expressed to the nearest 10 calorie increment. So if a product contained 154 calories, it can be rounded down to 150 calories. Similarly, if a product contained 4.3g of fat, it can be rounded up to 4.5g of fat. ⁣⁣⁣⁠⠀ ⁣⁣⁣⁠⠀ The rounding rules are extensive and there’s really no need to know anything about them, aside from being aware that they exist.⁣⁣⁣⁠⠀ ⁣⁣⁣⁠⠀ I’m sure you’ve noticed situations where the macros and calories on a nutrition label don’t actually match up if you do the math. Be daring enough to find the life you want, strong enough to make the changes you need and courageous enough to chase your dream. - - - The person in this picture is not who I used to be or who I am now. Since beginning my fitness journey, stepping on stage for the first time and competing in a total of 10 shows over the last 6 years, I have completely changed. Not just physically. I have changed my thoughts, my behaviour, my perspectives and my goals. If you want to become the best version of yourself you can be, and achieve something you’ve never had, change is necessary. And with that comes discipline and sacrifice. As the saying goes - if it was easy, every one would do it. This is why I love comp prep. For those who are ready and committed, it teaches hard-work, sacrifice, uncomfortability, discipline, habit change and routine, goal-setting and short term- suffering for long term gain. All of the things which are absolute key to success in any big changes we make in life. Being uncomfortable, is okay. Being overwhelmed, is okay. Making sacrifices when necessary, is okay. Because it’s all a part of your process of change. The key is knowing when we have to pick ourselves up, hold our own hand and get the work done. And knowing when we have to allow ourselves to step back from the grind for self-love, reflection and rejuvenation - so we can go back in even harder and more motivated the next day. The greatest lessons I have learnt through comp prep, and the things which have helped me become the stronger, confident and more driven person I am today are: - You are enough. Self doubt limits more champions and successes than any other obstacle. - You are capable. You just have to know you are. Believe in your own capacity to achieve, write down your goals, develop an action plan and you will achieve success in all you set your mind to. - You need to put yourself first. Give yourself the time you need to become the person you want to be. - You need to take risks. It’s terrifying, but you will have to challenge yourself if you want to achieve true change. Take a deep breathe, look forward into your future and make the leap.
