I find that this small adjustment in hand/wrist position nails my rear delts, seeing as they’re closer to the pull family of the back. They were never overly stimulated by typical push movements that characterize a compound shoulder day. Should You Train Based On Your Muscle Fibre Type --------------------------------------------------------------- There may be a practical benefit to developing training blocks based on specific fibre type. However this is an area of research that requires a lot more investigation. --------------------------------------------------------------- At this point, it seems to be a waste of time for a few important reasons. The first is that unless you are willing to get several muscle biopsy there is no reliable way to determine if you are predominantly type 1 or type 2 muscle fibre. I've seen tests which claim that taking certain exercises at specific intensities to failure can determine fibre type based on the number of successful repetitions. This system is highly unreliable and can not determine fibre type with any degree of certainty. --------------------------------------------------------------- For the vast majority of people the division of fast and slow twitch muscle fibre is about 50/50. So even with muscle biopsy it may not have much actual bearing on which way to focus your training. --------------------------------------------------------------- There seems to be an adaptive component to muscle fibres. Which means that with consistent stimulus directed toward a single adaptation (ie. Strength) you can to some degree change fibre types. So proper, focused, well structured training will ultimately lead to better gains in a particular endevour regardless of muscle fibre type. --------------------------------------------------------------- Since resesrch at this point seems a bit unclear as to what rep ranges and intensities fatigue specific muscle fibre types it suggests (along with anecdotal observation) that you should utilize the full range of repetitions and intensities for both strength training and bodybuilding to yeild optimal results.

After completing 7 sets- Set 1=60kg/20 reps Set 2=100kg/12 reps Set 3=140kg/10 reps Set 4=180kg/5 reps Set 5=200kg/1 rep Set 6=180kg/4 reps Set 7=140kg/10 reps I decided to add abit of GVT hitting the 10 sets, 10 reps of 100kg😨 *footage starts from 2nd set and the 1 finger at end is for 1 left😊
