A study was conducted on 30 resistance trained males to examine the effects of strength and endurance training order on strength development and performance. They found better strength and performance in the groups that did only strength training and strength training followed by endurance training than in the group that did endurance training before strength training. Conducting endurance exercise prior to strength training resulted in impaired strength training performance. I biked down to the sea this morning for my skinny dip (see previous post) and I went out for a jog around the block before I made dinner (7 minutes out on the timer, then turned around and ran 7 minutes back home). I have not regained the weight I lost, or at least no more than 10lbs of that weight. But guess what? I live my life feeling more free I enjoy my food MORE I exercise because I love it So how do i stay motivated? My advice? Do what YOU love for movement....walking, biking, yoga, crossfit or dancing whatever it is JUST DO IT Stop beating yourself up for "failing" life is too short for that shit. Eat REAL food. No processed shit that makes you feel like shit Eat cake if you want the fucking cake BUT no guilt Love with ur whole heart Be honest with yourself ALWAYS And more than anything just know that a 1% movement forward IS FUCKING SOMETHING. Perfection is not obtainable So strive to be happy in every facet of your life INSTEAD of caring what that number on the scale says โคโค
