❓Do you feel like it’s easier to build muscle on one part of your body than another? For me, I find that it varies from month to month. . . . ✖️Last night, my upper body workout was amazing!! I had that post workout glow. ✨ Lately, my leg days have been slacking and my upper body days result in strength gains and muscle pumps. 💪🏽💪🏽 . . . ✖️Sometimes, I struggle with completing my shoulder workouts but my squats and deadlifts are on point. What’s the deal with that?? 🤷🏽‍♀️ To be honest, I think this happens to everyone, even if we don’t admit it to ourselves. If you know me, you know I’m gonna take an undesirable situation and try to learn from it. Here’s how. 👉🏽👉🏽 TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THAT 💩!!! . . . ‼️When you’re feeling strong for a few days in your upper body, use it to your advantage by increasing your bench or overhead press strength. When your legs are feeling powerful, push them to the limit and see what your squat max is!! I think my trainer was on a mission to make me suffer today...MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! 😖 Seriously, that workout was tough...unfortunately, we have to be uncomfortable and endure some pain if we ever expect to grow! #growthroughwhatyougothrough . . . I know every day I’m getting stronger and what challenges me today will be my warm up one day! I just keep thinking how amazing that’s going to feel! 😊 . . . Squats 205lbs/93kgs 4x9 Bench 100lbs/45kgs 4x9 (75%) . Hopping right back into my program where I left it before I took off to Costa Rica was interesting. On one hand, I felt super rested, hyped and ready to get after it. On the other, I had to find my bearings a bit - that first squat was a bit short for instance. Anyways, felt like I managed pretty well, it was more just a mental game for me by the third set.
