I want to give a big shout out and all the recognition to this beautiful girl @steph.lo__ I'm so proud that we completed and conquered our photo shoot weekend with our best stage packages yet to date. This girl is determined in so many ways and her drive for success out angles all her competition by miles. Her dedication, motivation and perseverance are hard to keep up with at the best of times. During this prep, we were faced with a lot of ups and downs and some unforeseen circumstances 💔. Even with the drawbacks that came upon her, this strong and confident lady resumed her diet and her drive for the gym 💪. We continued to push and motivate each other weekly. Sometimes we trained together at each others gyms. And most of the time we meal prepped together and ate together, even though our meals varied from each others. We tried to accomplish things as a team, instead of individuals. We crushed this 18 week prep as a team 👫 . Even though we did this as a team, and I'm so proud and lucky to have the best teammate out there, I still want to acknowledge her big solo effort on her prep. You did an amazing job and you're one hell of a fighter in life. Here are some tips to help you develop consistency in the gym! 1) Schedule a workout time that works really well for you! Set yourself up for success! If you know you are not an early morning person don’t schedule your workouts for 4am. Start at time that works really well for you develop the habit- then maybe try that early am workout time. 👍🏼 2) Schedule your workouts in your calendar and don’t miss it! Bosses don’t cancel on themselves! It’s so easy to let life take over and make health a back burner priority. 3) Get clear on your deep reason (your why) for getting healthy. A deep personal why will be the motivation you need when you lack the discipline to show up! Example: lose 10lbs vs lose weight so I can ride rides with my kids at Lagoon next summer. Also, incorporated some loaded carries which are great for a number of reasons including..strength, power, functional movement, core stabilization and shoulder stability. Add these to your portfolio 💯 🔥 💪🏾! - 🏋🏼‍♀️ Handwalk with push-up: Keep your legs straight (w slight knee bend) to get a good hamstring stretch and slowly walk your hands out (under control) into plank position and then perform a push-up.
