I feel like this is just an automated response in my head that isn’t necessarily a negative context, but changing it could definitely be improved with rethinking it. Even simple errands such as “oh I HAVE to go to the bank to deposit that check”. When really “I GET to go to the bank”. One word brightens up the context to remind me that I’m putting money in the bank to help me reach financial freedom! #nerdkrampus

When we think of achieving our goals, many of us focus on the tasks we need to add on to our already busy schedules. With this approach, it doesn't surprise me that many of us burn out so often. Instead, try to think about the things/tasks you can remove from your schedule in order to free up enough space to focus on your priorities. . A perfect first step towards doing this is eliminating all kinds of distractions: tv shows, social media, mindless web browsing, gossip, spending time with toxic people, etc. Another great tool to making sure you get things that matter done is to tackle those tasks first. Get those tasks out of the way early in your day so you don't have any excuses at the end of the day to not do them. . Comment below with one thing you will remove from your schedule!

Today I feel GUILTY. Like overwhelming, stomach churning, want-to-puke-in-my-mug SHAME. You see, yesterday, I didn't record the usual #WednesdayWellness @wildeaboutwellbeing podcast... 😖⠀ ⠀ I was quite poorly yesterday, but I really COULD have recorded it. I wasn't so ill that I couldn't plan and record an episode. I LOVE my podcast, it makes me feel connected and able to share my story. That's why I record three times a week. 👥⠀ ⠀ I had the internal debate of not knowing WHAT to record about. Maybe it was that combined with illness that pushed me into running away from recording. 🤷‍♀️⠀ ⠀ The truth is, I don't know why I didn't record.⠀ ⠀ Do you ever do things that you don't have a reason for? And which make you feel regret / guilt / shame afterwards?⠀ I hear ya!!! 🙋⠀ ⠀ The trick is finding WHATEVER EMOTION kicked off the action that ends up making you feel crappy.⠀ However difficult that is - it's definitely a longer-term goal of mine!⠀ ⠀ Once we understand the UNDERLYING feelings that cause us to do something (not record a podcast.. drink... eat... not eat... gamble... whatever your 'unserving' behaviour is), we can begin to TACKLE them. 💪⠀ ⠀ The actions are merely the SYMPTOMS of 'what lies beneath'...⠀ ⠀ Does this resonate with you? I truly believe that you are where you are today because of your habits regardless if they are good or bad. If you have cavities it’s because you have a habit of not flossing properly. Consistency Challenge Day 5 - ✅ I challenged myself to sticking to a consistent AM & PM routine for 4 weeks. We have a tremendous amount of control over how we wake up and how we shutdown at night. Are you taking advantage of this and living with intention or are you letting the uncontrollable get the best of you? You have a lot less control over the middle of your day (people call, cars break down, stuff happens) so bookend it properly. PS - I also am staying consistent with no processed sugar or flour, sticking to a workout routine, and my content creation. #PUSHTHEROCK
