This one is might ruffle some feathers but that’s okay—I’m here to change your life, not just make you feel good. ⁣ ⁣ Before this gets taken out of context I’m not saying that hormones, age, genetics, etc don’t play a role but that doesn’t mean they’re a make or break thing for you. ⁣ ⁣ Too often people use genetics, hormones, age, or literally any other excuse for them not moving forward but that same person 9 times out of 10 hasn’t been consistent for even 2 weeks before blaming their situation. ⁣ ⁣ Be consistent for 2 weeks, fall off, be consistent for 2 weeks, fall off, then start placing blame elsewhere. ⁣ ⁣ Because there’s plenty of people who have it worse than you in the world of age, hormones, genetics, etc but have been consistent for 6-8 months & have completely transformed their life. ⁣ ⁣ So before complaining & blaming stuff you cannot control (age, genetics, hormones, etc) try being completely consistent for 4-6 months 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩. ⁣ ⁣ That’s things like...⁣ —> Tracking your calories ⁣ —> Not binging ⁣ —> Staying in a deficit ⁣ —> Not going overboard ⁣ —> Eating enough protein ⁣ —> Eating enough plants ⁣ —> Getting your workouts in each week⁣ —> Not just eyeballing food⁣ —> Sleeping well ⁣ —> Keeping stress under control⁣ ⁣ Now do that stuff consistently for for the next 4-6 months. ⁣ ⁣ It’s not a matter of being perfect, it’s a matter of being consistent. ⁣ ⁣ You’ll find your hormones, genetics, & age won’t be a limiting factor after all. ⁣ ⁣ 📸 @wamplerphoto ⁣ ⁣ #hamiltontrained #fatloss #dieting #dietplan #weightlosshelp #keto #ketodiet #losefat #countingcalories

Here’s what you have to understand—if you’re going to lose any amount of body fat you have to physically take in less calories, right?⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Too often people are making all of these “healthy” changes but aren’t in fact changing their calorie intake.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ That leads to the person getting super frustrated because they’re making all these changes & yet nothing’s happening.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Let’s take a look at them.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔹Using less salt🔷⁣⁣⁣⁣ Here’s the thing—unless you have blood pressure issues & your doctor said to avoid it you need sodium—especially if you’re exercising regularly drinking adequate water.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Even aside from that, salt content doesn’t change calorie content.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔷Switching from sugar to honey🔷⁣⁣⁣⁣ Yes, honey is more natural if course.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ But stopping with sugar & pouring honey all over your oatmeal or toast adds calories up quickly.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ So just making the switch doesn’t necessarily change it’s calorie content.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔷Going from normal cookies & pizza to organic cookies & pizza🔷⁣⁣⁣⁣ This one is huge. Too many people think when they buy organic ‘junk food’ it is inherently better for them so it will help them lose more fat.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ But that’s not true. Even if it’s an organic 500 calories it’s still 500 calories.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔷Having less caffeine🔷⁣⁣⁣⁣ Caffeine doesn’t make you store fat at all. If you can’t adhere for the long term that’s a huge issue. Dieting soda is just 1 example but you can take this principle to the bank. Adherence > everything. Too many people are doing drastic stuff that can’t be sustained at all. And if it can’t be sustained what’s the point? I would rather you have 1 diet soda/day vs. cut it out completely & end up going overboard on it. I would rather see you make 1 donut/day work in your calories vs. cut all sweets out & then binge for 2 weeks once you can’t take it anymore. I would rather see you workout 2-3 days/week for the next 18 months vs. workout 5-7 days/week & get burned out in 3 months. Adherence is the most important aspect to this whole fat loss game.
