I made this mistake when I first got into fitness🤦‍♀️It was exhausting! @Regrann from @realjaredhamilton - 🔥Just Losing Weight Isn’t Bodybuilding🔥 - 🙋‍♀️If you feel like losing weight is way too difficult or you have to do the craziest stuff to see progress I want you to pay super close attention, okay? - 👍Cool. - 🤦‍♀️Most people I see struggling to lose weight feel like they have to do all this crazy stuff bodybuilders do. - 🤯Understand to just lose some weight & look good naked doesn’t mean you have to do all this stuff bodybuilders do in their final phase of getting to 2% body-fat. - 😢Fasted cardio 😩Carb:Fat ratios 😰Super rigid Meal plan 😡Taking things to extremes 😭Workout for hours, 6-7 days/week 😫Fitness is your entire life - 🤓You don’t have to take it that far. - 🤷‍♀️So what should you do? - 🍎Have flexible eating Of course there has to be structure & some sacrifice but not to the extent most people take it. - ⏳Consistency > Intensity. I don’t care how crazy you go for these little short bursts. Calories are the problem—not carbs. - Sometimes I feel like I’m beating a dead horse so to speak with the whole calorie deficit thing. - Then I open up Facebook, Instagram, look at a magazine cover, hear conversations in the gym, & realize it still needs talked about. - Way too many people still think carbs are the problem when it comes to fat loss. - But understand this—You could have zero carbs in your diet but until you eat in a calorie deficit you won’t lose any fat. - If you’re going to say carbs are responsible for making people fat then you might as well blame forks instead—it makes about the same amount of sense. - “Go on a zero fork dieting to lose weight—as long as you eat without using a fork you’ll burn fat” - Think about how dumb that sounds... - I know keto is hot right now & everyone is demonizing carbs but they aren’t the problem—too many calories are. - You know what happens if... 📍...you eat 𝙠𝙚𝙩𝙤 in a calorie surplus? Negativity from the scale has a way of festering and growing. It impacts your workouts. It impacts your food choices.⠀ .⠀ 🤓But fear not! There are a lot of reasons that the numbers might fluctuate. Just because your weight is a few pounds more than usual, it doesn’t mean that you have gained fat.⠀ .⠀ 🤯This is one of the main reasons that I highly recommend not weighing yourself every single day... .⠀ 👍🏻Weighing yourself once a week is plenty and will more accurately record your journey.⠀if you are going to weigh yourself everyday, then keep track of your averages and don’t get too disappointed with daily fluctuations. .⠀ .⠀ 💪🏻Spend your time focusing on your daily process and NOT your daily results.⠀ .⠀ The Bottom Line ✅: don't let your daily and weekly fluctuations in body weight discourage you. Correct me if I’m wrong, but you & I are probably in similar situations. - It’s story time with your Uncle Jared. - Here’s how—we both have no where to go but up. - There’s 2 big advantages to being at the bottom. - I said 1 already—the only way to go is up, & the other is your progress will be more drastic. - When you’re really good at something progress is a lot smaller & a lot more tedious. - At the top (what you’re aiming for) you’ll only get better in smaller increments of a few percentages—but at the bottom you can make big strides. - Correct me if I’m wrong but that’s probably where you’re at with weight loss right now. - You have a bunch of weight you want to lose, you’re not sure where to start, & you have a long journey ahead (a white belt in weight loss so to speak). - I’m in a similar place with Jujitsu—a white belt. - As you can see from my blurry face I’m pretty beat. - I’m still at the point I’m pretty much a 200lb rage doll. - But it’s a beautiful thing because I’m learning a lot, getting better, & enjoying the journey. - I get beat a lot, mess up a lot, tap a lot, get flipped a lot, but learn & enjoy a lot🤓 - I enjoy class, enjoy training, enjoy learning, enjoy sessions with my coaches & training partners, & enjoy the whole process. - How terrible would it be if I hated every second of it all because “I’m not at my goal yet” - You should do the same thing with your weight loss goals. - Enjoy your training sessions, enjoy learning the ins & outs (which includes failure), enjoy your small victories, & enjoy the whole process. - Don’t waste months & years of enjoyment because you aren’t at your goal yet. - Like I said, you & I are in similar situations—I’m enjoying mine, you should enjoy yours. - We have no where to go but up 😏 - 📸: @wamplerphoto - #hamiltontrained #bjj #bjjlifestyle #bjjmemes #losefat #burnfat #diettips #dieting #dietfail #dieter #keto #ketodiet #ketosis #weightlosstips #weightlossstruggle #weightlossstruggles #losingfat #workoutoftheday #weightlossdiary #weightlossideas #fitnessgoal #fitnessgoals #hiit #hiitcardio #fastedcardio #dietpills #dietandexercise #cardioworkouts #fatloss

There’s nothing wrong with eating late at night as long as your calories are in check (your deficit). - 🔥So many people get really hungry in the evening so here’s how to go about it. - 📍 𝙇𝙀𝘼𝙑𝙀 𝙍𝙊𝙊𝙈 𝙄𝙉 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝘿𝘼𝙄𝙇𝙔 𝘾𝘼𝙇𝙊𝙍𝙄𝙀𝙎 📍 This is the best way to do it. Instead of depriving yourself & not eating at night, just save a good 300-400 calories in your day so you can have them at night. Easy fix. - 📍 𝙇𝙊𝙏𝙎 𝙊𝙁 𝙋𝙍𝙊𝙏𝙀𝙄𝙉 & 𝙁𝙄𝘽𝙀𝙍 𝙄𝙉 𝙇𝘼𝙎𝙏 𝙈𝙀𝘼𝙇 📍 If you’re hungry all the time in the evening try having a meal super high in protein & fiber.
