Portion control when it comes to chocolate....is that even a thing? ⠀ Lets just say it is pretty hard...unless the chocolate itself is wrapped individually and even then it is a bit of a struggle to only have 1-2 squares 😬 I’ve compared 30g of fruit centred chocolates with 60g of blueberries and 20g dark chocolate. ⠀ Chocolate covered blueberries (like the yoghurt covered blueberries), are a quick ⏰ and simple treat that will satisfy any sweet tooth! ⠀ ⠀ I love doing this because it provides a larger volume! Plus you get the fruit, Two birds one stone ?🙊 ⠀ What you need : ➖Fresh blueberries ➖Chocolate of your choice ➖Baking paper lined tray/plate ➖Toothpicks ⠀ ⠀ Step ➀ Using a toothpick, dip each blueberry into the melted chocolate and swirl until covered. Use another toothpick to help slide the coated berry onto a lined plate ⠀ Repeat until all blueberries are coated. ⠀ Step ➁ Refrigerate until set (don’t freeze, these actually taste WAY better chilled) ❄️ Can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge. . Preparation 1. Quarter the strawberries and place into a large bowl. 2. Dice the mango and place on top of the strawberries. 3. Peel and dice the kiwi. Add into the bowl. 4. Slice bananas and place in the bowl. Add in the blueberries. 5. In a small bowl mix honey and lime juice. 6. Pour syrup over the fruit and mix. Mix well. 7. Enjoy! .
