Now this was another banger, chicken and bacon stroganoff yes please 🐔🥓🍚🥬 Only 2 syns for the lot, very creamy and full of flavour 🙌🏼 🤤 . . For the stroganoff I fried the bacon (P) in a pan, once cooked I removed and left it to the side. Then I put white wine vinegar and Worcester sauce (free) into the pan and mixed together. Added a chopped red onion, mushrooms (SP) and garlic until cooked. Then cooked the chicken (P), poured in 125ml of chicken stock (free) on a medium heat and cooked until the liquid was reduced to half. Plonked the chopped up cooked bacon back in, brought the pan down to a low heat and mixed in 25g’s of Philadelphia (2). Cooked until sauce thickened and then served with rice (free) and asparagus (SP).

Went away for a week, took my dumbbells and kettlebells with the intention of at least working out every other day. Did one workout on the first day then ended up having too much fun spending time with the family I didn’t touch the weights again for the rest of the time and it was amazing 🙌🏻 the last time I took a week off training was when I was pregnant and I didn’t realise how much my body needed the rest. I totally relaxed and ate what I wanted and guess what. Okay so I measured everything several times and kept double checking... I’ve only gone and lost 31 bloody inches 😳🎉 ha, can’t believe it.. I only measured myself for the fuck of it as well 🤣 The best bit is 7.5 inches has come off my stomach praise the lord 🙌🏼 The first measurements were taken after a 3 week binge when my bro and sister-in-law came to visit so I knew it would be quite different. Lost 5 inches off my thighs and 3 inches off my upper arms, this is the key areas where I’ve struggled to lose weight so this makes me very happy 😭 #couchto5k has definitely been the main reason for that. Haven’t been on the scales, wanted to see what it was like measuring instead of weighing my progress... it’s safe to say I prefer this way 🤪 Feeling very motivated!

🥑Guacamole🥑 Sitting in the car thinking about all the foods I want to eat. Unfortunately I can’t eat anything for the next 24 hours. As some of you may know from my stories I’m getting a colonoscopy done tomorrow in hopes to find what’s causing all my stomach issues. —————————————————————————— For those who don’t know how a colonoscopy works a few days before the procedure you are limited to eating white rice and white bread, chicken, fish, and eggs. No veggies, no fruits no whole grains can be eaten a few days before the procedure. The day before the procedure breakfast is allowed and then ONLY clean liquids the rest of the day. Because of this I won’t be posting any new content today or tomorrow. —————————————————————————— For now y’all will have to enjoy this old pic of some chips and guacamole from one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Newport Xoxo

Well first of all, the reasons on why we decided to do it together were quite simple : We both are interested in the same things and we both want to share our knowledge. We went through a lot of trial and error and the results that we were getting are just too awesome to be kept for ourselves. You are probably now saying "but there is already enough information about fitness" and you are right. But exactly this is already getting problematic. ▶️We live in in era where we have access to tons of free information and this is obviously really good! ◀️ But the downside of that aswell is, which information is right and who do I trust⁉️ People are not failing their goals anymore because they are lacking the information they need, people are failing because they have an influx of too much information and being lost! We went through the same expierence like everybody else did. 🚫"You need 3grams or more protein per kg weight to gain muscle. 🚫fatburners are effective supplements for weightloss, 🚫you need this special exercise for maximum muscle gain" the list goes on and on. People tend to lie for their own gain. People will do all kinds of things when money is involved. And after mentioning lying towards people, we also want to tell you that obviously, we aint knowing everything perfectly yet. This is another reason why we are here and why we want to do it together. We both have different knowledge about health & fitness and we complement each other because of this. But we also are not done learning. There is a famous quote for that. ▶️"The day you stop learning is the day you die".◀️ There are different versions of those, but the message is essentially the same. We want to learn more about ourselves and about how to implement small changes in your life to get the best out of yourself. We want to learn more by being active on social media and engage with people, by coaching them and getting feedback, or get advice from other people. Essentially we want to form a community, where we are growing together everyday.

Sugar is a drug! It’s more addictive than cocaine and will make you fat!⁣ ⁣ Now that I have your attention, disregard that statement ☝🏻⁣ ⁣ There’s no scientific evidence of sugar being addictive nor does it inherently cause weight gain. Eating too many total calories does!⁣ ⁣ I’ve struggled with this my whole life because, like almost of us, I love food 🌮🤷🏻‍♂️ ⁣ ⁣ With dieting for competition or just for aesthetics also comes disordered eating patterns, an unhealthy relationship with food, binge eating, or even not eating at all 😳⁣ ⁣ When you binge in a calorie deficit, your body has been so used to being deprived for so long that when you suddenly take in thousands of calories, you notice bloating and water retention right away. You may even appear “fatter” from the extra water weight, which can be discouraging, especially if you did this right after looking your best.⁣ ⁣ I always go crazy after a competition even though I say I’m not going to, and I gain 20-30lbs in a week. Not only is it stupid from a health standpoint, but it can be detrimental to your mental health, as you just saw yourself at your best and now you’ve consumed enough extra calories to look your worst 🤦🏻‍♂️⁣ ⁣ Have the ice cream, pizza, cookies, donut or cake. Rested on top of plain rice soaked in coconut milk, beans and sweetcorn. Grilled for 10 minutes and served with pineapple & sweet chilli sauce. “How is it even possible that you’re a mother of 2? Honest though, how much of it would you attribute to genetics?” . My very good friend asked me this question a couple of days ago. . I get told, quite a lot actually, that I’m simply lucky to have good genes. . That it’s not necessarily about my diet, exercise or healthy practices. . I’ll answer here as truthfully as I answered my friend. . I might have some good genes and for that, I’m thankful. However...... . For most of my teenage/young adult years, my mum was overweight. She was a size 22 at some point. . My father, who played tennis, golf, went swimming, lived an active life, had a stroke, was diabetic and hypertensive. Eventually, he died. . So yes, I’m thankful for my genes but clearly, good genes won’t save you if you continue to treat your body poorly. . I don’t rely on “good genes”. I focus on treating this one body that I have right, so that I can be the best mum to my girls, live a full, happy, playful and productive life. . Accomplish all the things that I set out to, without my health being a deterrent especially if it’s avoidable. . Ain’t nobody relying on good genes alone! . Genes kor, jeans ni! 😜 . I don't quite know what these are, so I'll say a scone. These are scones. I wanted to use the left over fat free Greek yogurt from pizza night, so I rustled these up using 1 1/2 cup of self raising flour, 1 cup of fat free Greek yogurt, mixed 30g cheese, 100g cherry tomatoes, mixed herbs.. Bang in the oven for 25 minutes and voila.
