FRIDAY PIZZA FUN (W RECIPE) . Hy everybody 🙋 You know what time it is... #pizzafriday 🙌 How about a delicious pizza with spinach, grape tomatoes, mushrooms and crispy garlic 😊? All on top of my delicious homemade pizza crust 🍕 Could there be any better treat for a cozy Friday evening 😊? . . Vegan.DIY: Pizza Crust. - makes 2 large or 4 small ones. - activate 7g dry yeast in 2 cups luke-warm water, 1 Tsp agave nectar and 3 Tbsp olive oil (about 7-10 minutes). - add 2.5 cups all-purpose flour, 1.5 cups whole-meal wheat flour and 1 Tsp salt. - mix until dough comes together and then gently knead on a flour-dusted surface for 3-5 minutes (dough should be soft, elastic and a little sticky). - form a dough ball and place it in a slightly greased bowl. - let rest for 1-2 hours until dough has doubled in size. - cut dough into 2 or 4 pieces and spread them out on a flour-dusted surface (DO NOT ROLL! Use your hands); middle part should be around 0.5cm thick, edge can be up to 2 cm, depends on your preference. - add some marinara sauce and your favorite toppings. - bake at 270°C/520°F for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and slightly crispy. - enjoy 😊 . . Good Morning and Happy Saturday! I’ve really been getting into using nuts more in my meals. So far I’ve only been using cashews and almonds. I heard some people also roast them and then put them in their meals. Definitely need to try that as well! I also got some pomegranate the other day that were on sale and I’m excited to use that as well. Pomegranate In Salads= wow 👌🏼😍 - ALMOND SWEET POTATO SALAD (2 servings) —> Ingredients: ✖️Kale (finely chopped)-season with Italian seasoning and melted coconut oil ✖️1/2 red onion (chopped) ✖️1 sweet potato (small cubes) ✖️Cucumber (finely chopped) ✖️1 Tomato (finely chopped) ✖️Fresh Cilantro (or parsley) ✖️1/2 cup almonds —> Dressing: ✖️2 tbs apple cider vinegar ✖️1/2 tbs natural sweetener ✖️1/4 tsp salt ✖️1/4 tsp coriander or Italian seasoning —> Directions: 1. Chop up the sweet potato into small cubes and drizzle with coconut oil and season with Italian seasoning. Bake at 350 F for 20-25 min or until cooked. 2. Prepare your veggies and dressing 3. Combine you veggies, dressing, almonds, and baked sweet potato and mix till well combined! ENJOY ❤️

Especially when it’s white chocolate superfood bark infused with our favorite green tea!! 🍵🍫 TO MAKE: 1/2 cup cashew pieces 1/2 cup cacao butter 3 tablespoons maple syrup 1 teaspoon vanilla powder 1/2 teaspoon matcha powder Toppings: freeze dried raspberries hemp seeds sea salt Add cashews to a food processor and process until they release oil and turn to cashew butter. Gently warm raw cacao butter over low heat until just melted. Add to food processor along with other ingredients except toppings. Process until smooth and spread on a parchment lined baking sheet. Sprinkle toppings + extra matcha powder on top. Freeze until firm. Break into pieces. Ahhh...the much misunderstood carbohydrate. . I don’t ascribe to limiting beliefs about food. . We all need balanced macros....each one of us is highly bio-individual. . So, what works for your sister, mother, brother, BFF, hubs or significant other will likely NOT work perfectly for you 🙌🏻⭐️. . I do not believe that we, as women, can go too low carb for TOO long. Our bodies store sugars in our skeletal muscle and liver as GLYCOGEN....if you consume too much of any carb, it will be then become a triglyceride and/or adipose/fat tissue. So, if you have high trigs, EAT LESS SUGAR, esp processed stuff. . Here’s my carb philosophy:. . ❇️Practice in moderation. ❇️Don’t be afraid of fruit, but also don’t go overboard. Select lower-glycemic sugar) options, like berries, tart apples, just green bananas, citrus fruits. ❇️Eat 3 veggies to 1 piece of fruit....non-negotiable!. ❇️If you exercise....and, frankly, we all should.....consider cycling your carbohydrates, like more high quality carbs on days you lift and less on the days you do not. ❇️QUALITY IS IMPORTANT 📣📣📣. A slice of cake is NOT an optimal choice, but a sweet potato, lentils, berries, carrot are a better option. ❇️QUANTITY MATTERS. Esp as you get older.....no, you cannot eat sugary junk in excess and/or eat 5 bananas a day and think it doesn’t change you bio-chemically....it will. Blood sugar, inflammation, etc will all be impacted. ❇️Watch the alcohol.....this will make it harder for you to lose fat/weight....you can’t drink like you did in college.....sad, but true! ❇️If you consume less than 50gm/carbs daily long term.....and you are a woman, you will likely mess up your thyroid, adrenals and sleep. So, again, cycle your carbs. . My personal approach.....I lift 3-4 days/week, and on those days, I up my carbs considerably....please see photo....this is an example of what I would eat with my two meals each day on a higher carb day and my muscles say THANK YOU every time. . What’s your philosophy on carbs? Friend or foe?I hope they are your friend! ❤️

Oggi ho provato questa ricetta di @silvietta_iifym, devo dire che la foto dei miei calzoni non rende per cui vi lascio la sua; non potevo non condividerla con voi, avrei da aggiungere una mia nota personale a questa ricetta, leggetela in fondo.. :) . CALZONI DI PATATE MACROS PER 2 CALZONI: 48 p 118 c 8 f - 742 kcal . . Ingredienti per i calzoni : ✔️300 gr di patate ✔️ 90 gr di farina . Farcitura con : ✔️ 100 gr di prosciutto cotto magro ✔️ 2 sottomette light . . Procedimento: ✔️Prima di tutto cuocere le patate molto bene, visto che appena saranno fredde bisogna schiacciarle con lo schiacciapatate o con la forchetta. ✔️In una ciotola aggiungere la farina, un pizzico di sale e spezie a piacimento. ✔️Appena saranno fredde aggiungere le patate precedentemente schiacciate ed iniziare ad impastare. ✔️Lavorare bene l’impasto (con queste proporzioni non dovrebbe risultare appiccicoso) e fare una palla liscia. ✔️Dividere l’impasto (io in 2 palline) e iniziare a lavorarlo così da formare un mini pizza tonda. ✔️Al centro aggiungere un po’ di prosciutto cotto e una sottiletta e chiudere il calzone. ✔️Fare la stessa cosa con la seconda pallina. ✔️Preriscaldare il forno a 180 gradi e infornare per 25 minuti .
