Ao dormir pouco a pessoa desregula funções hormonais importantes, especialmente as relacionadas à regulação do relógio biológico (ritmo circadiano)! Dentro dessa parte hormonal, os hormônios que regulam a fome e saciedade são negativamente influenciados quando estamos em períodos de restrição de sono, ou sono de má qualidade! O que acontece a partir daí? Temos um hormônio chamado leptina (falei dele no post anterior sobre genética do emagrecimento) que possui papel de regular a saciedade e nível de energia do organismo! Tipo assim, se os níveis de leptina sobem, vamos ter maior gasto energético e menos fome! Porém se estamos mal neste hormônio, além de sentir muito mais fome temos uma redução do metabolismo! Só problema né?! Além disso, a privação de sono aumenta a produção de um hormônio chamado grelina, que vai aumentar nossa fome! Problema em dose dupla! Achando pouco? Pega essa última! A privação do sono ainda aumenta a quantidade de cortisol, o tônus simpático, a quantidade de catecolaminas, entre outras coisas que levarão ao ganho de peso! Quer se ferrar? Durma pouco ou durma mal! Lembrando que treinar bem, além de te ajudar a dormir melhor pode ajudar a melhorar em TODOS os aspectos negativos que a privação do sono atrapalham! Why do you workout? I get asked this question a lot. I think people think its just about outer appearance. And that is not completely true for me. That is just a perk. I work out because it clears my mind. It is one time in the day I’m not pulled in different directions. If I’m at home I never sit. I am always cleaning or doing next project. I love going to gym and seeing my extended family @trufusion_scottsdale, everyone puts in all their effort and they have grateful hearts at the end.
