The great part about choosing a healthier lifestyle as opposed to being on a diet is that while I was out of town this weekend and I didn’t workout once, track macros, or eat perfectly I’m not carrying any guilt or feeling upset. In my former way of living this would have “ruined” things and I would have had the mindset that I might as well throw in the towel and just go back to how I was before. Not today! The FASTer Way Is built on grace and is sustainable throughout our life — vacations and all! . . Today I’m simply choosing to jump right back in! Meet my friend...my cream dining room wall😉 . So the reason why this wall is so special to me is that this wall is now one of my new work backdrops... . I have been in and around sport & fitness from a very young age. I first walked into the gym as a 15yr old. Gotta say, I loved it! loved getting stronger, loved seeing how my body changed & I completely loved the 'high' I got after an aerobic class or weight session🥳 . For me, exercise is an anti-depressant if I'm feeling down. It can totally refocus & reset my mindset & I guess because I've been in the game so long, it doesn't matter if a gym isn't available, or I don't have equipment, I have tools to make exercise a non excuse . I may not always be super lean- currently I'm not, but exercise for me is not just about how you look, it's how you feel too . Over the years I have met so many women & men who just want to get fit & feel good but seem to always have an excuse for why they don't work out . Clients & friends often use the 'I don't have time to train, I'm travelling for work a lot. I don't have a gym membership/home gym. I'm on vacation excuse. So, I call them on it & give them the tools so the above excuses can no longer be used . I regularly provide written full body circuit training workouts 4 clients, where they can do the workout anytime/anywhere with no equipment but as I have now entered the digital world (fully aware, how ancient I sound) I'm now providing weekly filmed📽 circuits direct to their inbox (& I'll post on IG). So I'm pretty excited about this plain cream wall . Workout of the day! 💪 . First all of i just want to say welcome back @gavinkelly375 its been a long time coming! Ive missed you! . Great workout on the menu today peeps. If your training with a friend this evening even better. . 1. 3 minute skip to warm up 2. 8 x 2 minute rounds on the pads . This takes you approximately half hour. Follow this up with a combination of push exercises. So the second half of your session will look like this . Incline barbell bench press 6x6 Flat barbell bench press 4x12,10,8,6 Cable flies 4x20 Machine shoulder press 6x6 Lateral raises 4x12,10,8,6 . This was a great combination of fitness, fat burning, strength and endurance. Combined these all together and by the of the hour you'll be feeling out of breath and sweaty. This is what we want right? After all we are in the gym to put some work in! . If you dont have a partner use the bag for 2 minute rounds. If your not sure how to work the bag keep it nice and simple for yourself. Continuous straight punches making sure each hand comes back to the chin after each punch has be thrown. .
