⁣⁣ 🔑STAYING PATIENT AND CONSISTENT IS KEY🔑⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I always have a hard time dieting because I wouldn’t see any changes within the first few weeks and give up. Saying “oh, maybe my metabolism/body just doesn’t want to diet anymore”🙄⁣⁣ •⁣⁣ I wouldn’t track my bites and licks and would assume they were only 50 calories. Well let me tell you all... THEY ADD UP!! ⁣⁣ •⁣⁣ I would mindlessly eat and be frustrated with myself when I wasn’t losing any weight (in fact gaining) because I wasn’t being honest with myself. ⁣⁣ •⁣⁣ TRACK YOUR CALORIES. Even if you finished all your macros for the day, track those bites! I often find myself actually stopping at 50 calories because I’m AWARE of what I’m eating, what I’m doing, and then stop overeating. ⁣⁣ •⁣⁣ Be honest with yourself. Be aware of your actions and behaviors. When your stage tan fades just right and you no longer has you looking like an pumpkin 🎃 I’m definitely proud of the look and package that I brought to the stage, but I’m always looking to improve. I’ve got two weeks before I step on stage again and you better believe I’m going to make every moment count. One of the things I’ve always liked about myself is my ability and willingness to persist. I can honestly say that after a day of being a tad salty about not getting a placing I’m at peace with it now and have decided to move on with my life. I let myself feel what I needed to, and now there is no point in putting my more energy there. As my coach would say: Onwards and upwards!
