i know i already posted this to my story in a way but i’m just really excited about this hahah. i’m at the point now where i’m hitting the one year anniversary of so many of my before pictures, it’s kinda crazy to see them and know that they’re me?? like i feel like a completely different person. i’m so grateful for what i’ve learned in the past year because i did some seriously growing up. yes there’s an obvious physical change, but the most meaningful aspect to me is my mental health. i went from being in a super depressed place, to finally having an outlet for those built up emotions. i chose to put myself first and i remember people telling me that my future self would thank me. they were 100% right because i know that it took blood, sweat and lots of tears to get to this place, but i did it and i’m so much better off now for it.

happy #transformationtuesday cuties!!! hit my new lowest weight today so i’m feeling all kinda of hype. a lot of people have been asking what my goals are now! so i’m trying to get to 145. i think that’ll be a good maintenance weight for me, but i may cut down just a tad more for summer. overall though, i’m pretty happy with my body and i’m really excited about using this year to really increase my strength and muscle!!💕💕 also friendly reminder my gym guide is available on my website (kpnfit.com) to help you figure out how to utilize the gym to best fit your goals! it comes with access to the private page @kpnfithelp, cardio, ab and hiit circuits, and 8 weeks of weight training!! 💕💕

i did a post back in june talking about my struggle with comparing myself to my sister and occasionally those feelings do still exist, but i’ve grown to celebrate our individual strengths and how we are both so different but get along so well. she has been nothing but supportive to me during this journey (even tho she hates working out) and we even recorded a lil hiit workout for yall today😂😂 it’s going to go up some time this week. overall though, i just want you guys to know that just because you look different than someone else doesn’t mean that you aren’t beautiful or worthy or capable or strong. everyone has their individuality for a reason. keep being you!!💕

trying to feel more comfortable and confident in my new body! i am realizing the extent of my abilities and it’s one of the most exhilarating and motivating things to see your body be capable of new things. before i lost weight, i couldn’t run or hike or rock climb or shoulder press more than 5 lbs. now i’m looking forward to workouts, hiking daily, shoulder pressing 25 lbs, and am infinitely happier than i was at this time last year. choose yourself and your health. it’s 100% worth it✨

pictures can’t show everything so here’s a side by side video comparison! ⁣ ⁣ the left video was taken march 15 and i weighed in at 182.6 lbs so i was already down 16 pounds. ⁣ the right video was taken this morning and i’m sitting around 147 lbs! ⁣ ⁣ i wish i had taken more videos but also still get really insecure posting these so please be nice😂⁣ ⁣ sorry they’re not in the same location but i moved in october and tbh i miss that closet 😭😭⁣ ⁣ also, for reference i am 5’5 and 20 years old since everyone always asks!!💕💕

please excuse me while I have a heart attack while posting my ~first ever~ full body progress pic. I’ve never posted one before a) because it’s scary b) honestly I feel like I’ve never made an actual progress before. The first photos were taken about six weeks ago while the others were taken this morning. I may be crazy but I do feel like I see some progress especially in the first photos - particularly in my arms and also I feel like I just look less..bloated? in general. I don’t see much progress in side photos other than my neck seems to be reappearing 😂 like I said this is terrifying so please be kind 😊 also, obligatory ~saturday is house cleaning so please excuse the messy room~ 😂

today’s breakfast: leftover cowboy caviar & one egg, one egg white 🤠 last night my friend hosted a pure romance party 🤪 and I brought a super easy and healthyish cowboy caviar dip! Simply dice up some tomatoes, avocado, red onion, red pepper and jalapeño and toss with some black beans & black eyed beans! The dressing was made up of olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, pepper, & garlic powder! Super easy and delicious, it was a big hit at the party! I still had some left over so I just tossed into my eggs this morning and voila! 💁🏼‍♀️

I’M DRAIN FREE! Y’all I was actually so nervous going in to the office with how painful I thought drain removal would be but I was just excited to get them out. Well turns out I didn’t even feel it. 😂 It’s day 4 post-op, I’m drain free, was doing laps around Costco earlier today and am just feeling awesome! I’m already off pain meds 🤗 I got fitted for my compression suit that I’ll be in for 2 months once it comes in, so naturally I ordered 2 because I’m not washing that everyday. Doc says I’m cleared to get back in the gym Tuesday and ease back into things and I’ll be seeing him again next Friday.

☝🏾This right above: important words. I had to take a hiatus from this page. My mental health was 👎🏾 and I ended up with an awful stomach bug, that I’m still recovering from. For awhile, I was struggling with the thought “maybe I’ll just stay as the fat friend.” Losing weight is such a struggle and I wanted to give up. Thankfully @jillieoscar and @kts_adventure never let me continue those stupid thoughts. Just because I haven’t found my niche yet, doesn’t mean I’m not succeeding. I’m eating fairly well, no binges lately, I still go to the gym. My journey isn’t over yet and I’m never gonna give up until I reach my ultimate goal of being fit, healthy and happy.
