Monday Motivation 🙌 This is how my New Years resolution is going!!!! I’m starting to fit into my old clothes, again!! The pic to the left was taken in December and we are in March!!! I work out 5-6 times a week at a bootcamp boxing style gym 👉 @fightfitusa. I STAYED FOCUSED. I didn’t go cold turkey and become a health nut from day one, and I’m definitely NOT one now. Once I started seeing results, I SLOWLY started eating healthier, started working out harder and stayed consistent. I still eat what I want just control the portions, even it out, I don’t drink soda or alcohol mostly because I don’t have a social life. Anyways, you can try all the diets you want, if you’re not consistent it won’t work. It takes a month to see your body start transforming, so be patient. No magic tricks just daily accountability.

- Have trouble feeling your hamstrings engage on stiff leg deadlifts? Give this a try! - Deficit dumbbell stiff leg deadlifts - Feet touching, standing on two 25 pound plates. Standing on the plates allows the weight to pass further and give a greater stretch and standing on the floor normally would. - Keeping a slight bend in the knees(not locked out) but not bending further while completing the exercise. Stiff leg deads means exactly that. Keep the back straight and hinging at the hips. Keeping the tension on the glutes and hamstrings through the exercise. - Slow and controlled on the way down with a 3 to 5 second pause at the bottom.
