There's nothing quite like the sunsets at Byron Bay. It even makes an average photo of the back of a 17 year old Subaru Forester look good.

Sempione Gate is a city gate of Milan. The gate is marked by a landmark triumphal arch called Arco della Pace ("Arch of Peace"), dating back to the 19th century, although its origins can be traced back to a gate of the Roman walls of Milan. Inside the arch, here, you can see Sforzesco Castle in the distance across the park.

Happy #earthday. This is from the top of #MtAgung, in #Bali. It's a 10,000 ft #volcano that started erupting this past weekend. This was a very early morning hike that we started in the black of night. We summited the #crater about 6am to witness the #sunrise. Our trek started in the high #jungle, just below the clouds you see in the center of this image. The trekked lasted about 3 hour,. The view was #glorious! This is more than 180º panorama from my Nikon. I placed the sun (left side) directly behind the group of trekkers and boulders and as you can see the shadow of the volcano on the right side of this image. Eventually I slowly crawled my way up to the edge of the volcano to see into the depths of Mt Agung. It was very spooky to crouch to my knees looking 700+ feet to the bottom. I took a few shots then zoomed way in on the back of my camera and could see there was a large instrument that appeared be a #seismic instrument. I wonder how high in the sky that instrument blew?
